Every project plan ever. Overly ambitious, ever creeping scope and failure to deliver on core requirements because they were not sexy enough for the exec oversight
This is not normal. Prospective heads of state of democratic countries do not post maps of their country taking over neighbours.
Do not accept this as a new normal.
The view on the croft this morning - even when the weather is being "exciting" this place is magical
But moving here made it all a bit easier
I was terrified of entering my 50s and yet it ain't that different to my 40s.
Owning your passions and pleasures is the best way to live right now, because so much else is going wrong.
The Isle might be frozen and we might be trying to keep warm, but Dear God is a beautiful in a raw and rugged elemental way
It went nowhere near the whisky - I am not a monster! ๐
Both! I also introduced them to some nice whiskies too, but that was less of a surprise for them.
It is looking awfully messy. That and burning almost all the informal and formal checks and balances I learnt about when I did American politics at Uni.
Today I got to introduce an American visitor to the distillery to the joy that is Ribena!
We live in an amazing place - although it is often better seen from comfort :)
This morning was so cold that Loch Harport froze in places and was absolutely still for almost all the day - very unusual for this loch.
Sounds right to me? You are literally all playing monsters!
I will take that as a compliment ๐
It is an astounding piece - never played the game but that regularly gets onto my playlists.

The "bluesky is an echo chamber" think pieces that keep popping up really tickle me because they show how certain people genuinely believe social media should be for debating and arguing and not talking about the things that make you happy and sharing art with the world.
Hatches are battened down for Storm Bert but this morning the loch and MacLeod's Maidens looked spectacular!
Malifaux I really enjoyed, though that was not the latest edition. Deadzone I have not played yet but I have heard some positive reviews from friends.
Russia has escalated the battlefield position with pulling the North Korean troops in. It seems that Ukraine has presented the targets they wanted to hit to the USA and UK and they were agreed to be appropriate. Strengthens negotiating positions for the new year.
That's me. But I am a charming arsehole if that helps?
And you could have made sure you bought some shares to profit from it too ๐
Yep, at this point we have moved to no HP books, films or goodies allowed. The t-shirts, pyjamas and wooly hats we had have been recycled or gone to charity shops and the mugs are boxed up in storage.
Our very queer shaped family have just said no to the hater in chief.
For those who have a deeper interest, she is buying me some pathfinder remaster stuff and I am picking up the new planescape box set, a setting she fell in love with back in the days of 2nd ed AD&D :-)
Steph and I just worked out what we are buying each other for Christmas - seemingly it includes ttrpgs for each of us to GM for the other. Best wife!
The Skye Bridge with the mountains of Skye behind, this afternoon. All very snowy up here.
The Aristocracy gets a chunk of them.
