I loved the Trigun anime and manga growing up, so I geeked out over the creator, Yasuhiro Nightow RT'ing about the Mecha Samurai books. The tweet are model toys based on the awesome designs by John Liberto!

My new short story is coming out in Kaguya Issue #8, themed "Small Objects," and releasing in print on March 31st in Japan. It's called "Shizuoka no Yume" and is a loosely based on time I spent in Shizuoka. Honored to be included in the issue (and it's gotten some really nice media reviews too)

Playing through Kid Icarus with my kid. She's gotten up to 1-4 and has come across the Eggplant Wizards for the first time. Her reaction of hate and dread is pretty much the same I had as a kid, lol.
Sorry you’re not well – I hope you get better soon! Here’s another one for you: @tieryasxu.bsky.social in @reactorsff.bsky.social on how Sid Meier’s CIVILIZATION inspired Iain M. Banks’s EXCESSION

The Ryobondo Bookstore in Japan included United States of Japan in their new "kaijiu" section/category. Good company to be in!
I fell in love with the city of Shizuoka when I visited and wrote a short story about my trip there. I'm so honored that Shizuoka's biggest newspaper, Shizuoka Shimbun and Yahoo Japan, wrote a wonderful review of the short story. It's such a beautiful place and I highly recommend visiting.
Just renewed/relicensed Spanish rights for Estados Unidos de Japan (EUJ) w/ @penguinlibros.bsky.social @novacifi.bsky.social! Honored to continue to share the book w/ Spanish readers. Big thx Natalia Cervera @toliol.bsky.social @gigamesh.com @libreriacyberdark.bsky.social @geekfurioso.bsky.social
how is it?
I didn't realize there were other flavors of spam- maple, jalapeño, tocino, hickory smoke, gochujang, and hot and spicy.
Thinking back to that time I remade the entirety of The Legend of Zelda 1 in Super Mario Maker with only a few minor cuts. Pretty solid port

Pix'n Love comes out with beautiful books & I'm honored to have contributed an essay about Snatcher to this wonderful book about Hideo Kojima written by Tarak Chami and Rami Bououd. Thanks so much to Tarak for inviting me to contribute (also includes a foreword by Junji Ito!).
These paintings by William Jacob inspired by Kill or Be Killed (and done for Cam Lasky's new record) are incredible. I keep on seeing new details every time I see them and love how raw and intense they feel. Thank you William and Cam!
Very excited to dive into these two games, Bark Magic and Head Hauntcho by @radishgames.com! They look amazing!

Went to a retro game store and saw a sealed copy of Gladius for $64.99. Brought back really fond memories. I worked on the characters and cutscenes, setting up camera angles and stuff. It was a great game to work on! Can't believe it's over 20 years since its release!
Excited to share I have a new thriller/horror book coming out from AWA Studios, "Kill Or Be Killed." It's illustrated by Mike Choi (X-Men, X-Force) & in collab with Roy Lee's Vertigo (It, Ring, Minecraft) for Aug release. It's about AI, chatbots, & social media. Love the haunting cover by Mike.
I'm always happy when people send me photos of my books in the wild and it's nice seeing all three books like this. Thanks Ryan!
Thank you so much!
Been having fun making some video essays about some of my favorite video games with Angela, who's been editing them together. Sword of Vermilion was one of my favorites growing up and a game I feel is really underrated.
