I wish the large majority of the gaming landscape was like this. Sick AA games that know what they want to do and take some risks in the process.

Final Fantasy 16's version of this is stunningly good, where inside the entries dig into relevant entries. For example, in a character bio, their homeland would be added as a relevant entry, or close bonds.

Yes, and even on top of that, there are obvious valid uses for ML such as in the medical field, but talking about "AI" has poisoned that too if all you hear about is ChatGPT and such. Not a reach to say that the majority of people only think about those things when AI is mentioned.

This is easily my biggest gripe about LLMs barring the usual complaints.

The whole word AI is now cursed to be equal to slop generating models, it's ridiculous.

I understand LLM doesn't roll off the tongue well and AI is more relatable, but damn...

It's saddening how we can't just say we dislike something without having a good chance to be absolutely mobbed. It's ok to have different opinions, it shouldn't be so hard to accept this.
