As a fun aside I painted up several of my NCR minis as my friends in my NCR cosplay group, New California Cosplay.

My character in our circle was originally a ghoul so I never had the mini to represent him… This little code carrier is basically him, I guess he went feral. 😹

Finally got back to painting after a break. Did up the #Fallout76 Ghouls for #WastelandWarfare. Opted to swap the police ghoul for a responders variant and the code officer ghoul in the style of an #NCR officer.

I just did two of these not long ago.

Used them to learn how to use chipping medium.

It was a lot of fun.

We have a nail artist in the local scene who just started painting minis and she started strong because of that skill set.

I feel like we, as a society, have progressed beyond making mayo a default condiment.

My favorite part about Alien: Earth so far is that after watching whoever the current Yutani is in the timeline fuck people over in the alien universe countless times it’s nice to see someone not only stand up to WY but also get the upper hand.

I use it for base coating too, and some mild techniques here and there as well.

It was a solid purchase, but anywhere else I definitely wouldn’t suggest it to people starting.

I bought an airbrush just to prime personally.

I also live in GA where it’s always either too humid or too cold to do priming outside.

I’m part of a large cosplay group which mostly revolves around NV(Most of us do NCR Troopers)

One of our guys has his displayed in case with all the poker chips he’s collected from various casinos he’s played at with the NV chips in it as well.

So the microset(blue) helps the decal set in the place that you want it.

The Microsol(red) softens the decal up so if it’s being placed somewhere with a weird topography it will conform to those angles. Good for pauldrons where decals like to “bubble” because of the uneven roundness.

As someone who uses excessive amounts of decals whenever possible I applaud your victory.

I painted up a #Fallout #WastelandWarfare raider mini last weekend to represent another player character in my monthly #WinterOfAdam #Fallout2d20 game.

This one is Adam, Ex-Brotherhood turned raider turned good(?) guy.

The party are all actually kind of terrible so good is a stretch.

I’ve been slowly working through an old Corvus Cabal set and some Gryph-Hounds for my Bird-themed Chaos Marauders warband for an upcoming #Modheim campaign. Only two minis away from the starting line up.

Seems pretty solid(which is wired for GW).

I’ve had my eye on that one. So many fantastic characters in the necromunda line.

wound the mention of damage AI does it’s also important to remember it was fed on the content of artists without asking permission of a single person.

AI is theft no matter how you use it.

Like the point of kickstarter is to get the money to do things like hire artists.

If they can’t be bothered to hire an artist for art the rest is likely ran through AI too.

Just lazy people making lazy content.

Not that D&D should be worth anyone’s time anyways with Habro’s pro-AI stance.

I kind of look to Chaosium as one of the big names actively taking a stance against allowing AI in our community space, meanwhile Hasbro(WotC, D&D) has been more than open about how they love the idea of AI stealing and exploiting work in the same space.

Forgot last weekend I finished up a pair of fallout characters for the Fallout 2d20 TTRPG I run once a month.

From a production standpoint I get Newt’s death. Replacing child actors for a movie years later can very much kill
immersion.

Hicks would have been just fine, though, I think. They could have killed him off heroically and I would have been happy.

At least we got like 30 seconds of Bishop 🤷‍♂️
