A painted warhammer miniature of Lord Marshal Drier. He wears a blue-grey overcoat with silver armor panels, a silver helmet with gas mask and has a bugandy sash. He rides a mutated horse with sickly green fawn skin and dark red clawed feet. They stand atop a battlefield of rubble and skulls. This is a side view.

Really pleased with this one, he's almost entirely contrast paints and has come out lovely.

Thank you as always ^^
Yeah of all the things on that model, recess shading that brand was probably one of the few bits that made me go... oh :(
Getπthemπoutπ
(Also thank you ^^)
A screenshot showing the rules for the new Adepta Sororitas model "Intranzia Fraye" showing her stats. These include a weapon called a Melta Missile Array which sounds just as completely bonkers as you think it probably is.
Excuse me, Melta MISSILE?!
π
Just don't acknowledge its feet and you're fine, just a perfectly normal horse.
Enjoying a moment's respite, this Roane Deeper's Sergeant printed at 163% size (around 54mm) from Tiny Legend parts is complete. Painted entirely using @thearmypainter.bsky.social Fanatic, Historical, and a couple of John Blanche paints - kinda had to throw some grimdark on, right? Happy with that!
Aware auto correct cocked up here and I didn't notice because I'd not long woken up.

I was tempted to paint ES819 white but it felt a bit too on the nose (or gas mask in this case)
Just started those last night now that I've finished Drier π starting with the crews as it felt like the easiest point lol

Potentially only 3 more weeks now until I'll have a proper painting space β€οΈ
Post your favourite film from the year you turned 18
A close up of Lord Marshal Drier's (warhammer 40k movel) horses feet. They aren't hooves, they're clawed, raw looking, irradiated nightmares.
Lord Marshal Drier is nearly finished.
Got him on his base last night and weirdly pleased with how unnerving these hooves/feet turned out.

Progress! #warhammercommunity #paintingwarhammer
Why on earth anyone would have either of the top two for the safety aspect, let alone the cost of fuel/insurance/tax on them here is beyond me.
Every time I see one, the driver might as well have a forehead tattoo that says "I like pissing money up the wall (as well as hitting kids)"
A goat person holding a banner with yellow ochre ribbons
A goat person holding a long handled flail
A goat person holding a large axe
A goat person holding an axe bellowing at the camera
Oh gosh I hope you feel better soon!
These little buddies are also feeling a little under the weather!

Screengrab of my homemade unit cards. They show the stats and equipment for an Imperial Guard unit, and the colour coding and fonts have been updated to match the new style.
The front cover of the army book - "Planetary Defence Forces - Palladian Guard, the Dawn Guard", in Akhand font.
New 40K is great, but if like me you've been updating your homemade unit cards and lore books to match the new branding style, I can save you a lot of trawling. The header font is Akhand Extrabold - the body text is Asap. Colour coding in the rules text is my own addition, not official.
magical girl transformation but i just rapidly go through the 5 stages of decomposition
It's Thursday, calls for more Honse painting.
