Treated myself after battling in my head for the longest time, knowing that nothing would stop me buying real, borrowing online or listening to books. Took my Kindle out with me, took my book as well because otherwise I’d miss it 🤷🏽‍♀️

Hahaha it’s just fabulous, private woods with 3 other treehouses, but not seen another soul and we’re not overlooked at all.

It’s fine, we’re suited and booted for the occasion. We walk in all weathers so quite used to it :) and is a gorgeous part of the country.

Wednesday started with a little paddle in the river, followed by breakfast made in the woods. Then off to Lydford Gorge to see the waterfall and Devil’s Cauldron. Ooh and of course NT secondhand bookshop.

I’m an Advanced Nurse Practitioner with over 35 years experience in the NHS and an MSc in advanced clinical practice. We are not the same. But also, I’d imagine there are PAs out there in perfectly reasonable roles in relation to their knowledge and skills, but gosh the others though 😦

One of my sons gave me a treatwell voucher for Mother’s Day… so whilst I don’t usually enjoy the whole pedi experience, cos pain, I do love having nice nails, and this has been practically pain free. A win win with nice tootsies ready for my little mini break :)

Gosh, so sorry about Suki, it is a great age isn’t it.
Thanks Eileen, she’d been up and down for a few months, kept bouncing back after a few days not eating much. In the end it was very quick this week and she died at home with us, grateful for that.
