Not sure if I want to make a first-person or third-person game yet.
They're making a live action Ferngully of all things? They're really scraping the nostalgia barrel now. What's next, Home on the Range? We're Back: A Dinosaur's Story? Oliver and Company?
An image of an Amia computer semi submerged in tropical ocean in an island bay, the monitor on a marble plinth from which a waterfall cascades from the screen. All manner of colorful fish, a toucan, and a flamingo can be seen too.
Amiga Lagoon by Jim Sachs - a stunning 256-colour image created in Brilliance.

I wondered if Nightmare on Elm Street NES was the first example. Krueger eventually appears if you spend too long in the "dream world" and you're forced into a mini boss fight.
Do you have any tips on how to get started with Quake? I sometimes think about using it if Godot gets consumed by AI shit or something.
Was a busy week for me but I got to make a new skybox for the coastlands and I did some reworks on the ascending the cliffside part. Now with little shortcuts to discover. #gamedev #godot #indiedev #GodotEngine #screenshotsaturday

Playing a bit of Daikatana for the first time (using the 1.3 patch) and I think the game might've left a better impression on people if it started in one of the more interesting locations. You spend the first hour in a generic sewer/lab fighting annoying insect enemies.

Think I've posted this before, but someone is making a Realms of the Haunting editor, and a launcher to make running the game a bit easier. Both are made with the Godot engine.

I don't remember getting excited for franchises as a kid. I was just like "oh that game looks fun" not "I can't wait for the next installment in the Super Mario franchise trademark of Nintendo!"
This movie is wonderful. It's like they dropped Salem from Sabrina into a Zeiram movie or The Thing, with a bit of Terminator. Silly action scenes and some really good Cronenberg-esque practical effects.
That looks cool. Reminds me of an old Doom 3 mod by the Skin Deep dev, which was also a homage to Pathways into Darkness
