The first of the Blood Moon Authority, Frankenstein Diamond! Like the name entails, they’re a patchwork of several parts stitched together, including a long rat like tail, sharp fingers, and pointy ears. They come with two sets of gold teeth that compliment their piercing red eyes with their pale yellow scleras. It’s hair is always a bit messy given the currents that run through them, though their long mad scientist like coat shields most people from getting shocked. This coat also comes with striped claw like fingers that fold over where the hands would come out, serving as a means of defense if Frank’s powers aren’t enough. Their court consists mostly of mad scientist like gems who help research more about their world. Their gem sits on their stomach, similarly to Hellfire.

Hellfire is the second highest in the Authority, and yet again like the name suggests, he’s based off several devil like characters, mostly Onis and Christian like demons. His skin and hair look like obsidian due to their dark purple coloration, as well as the cracks of what looks to be lava coming from his skin. These cracks glow and give off heat, serving as the means that allow him to use his fire and lava manipulating abilities. Going back to his hair, it’s a rather large afro that spikes off like the ball of a mace, accompanied by a befitting mono brow. Hellfire doesn’t wear much in the sense of clothes, given they’d hinder his fire abilities in most cases, so he keeps it to a simple pair of baggy mauve pants, adorned with a smaller yellow scarf around the waist, a larger piece of fabric in the front, and with gold cuffs at the ankles.

Hallow’s Even Diamond is one of the lower diamonds within the authority, taking up the eighth spot within the authority as the Waxing Cresent. They have two forms they shift in and out of, their Witch Form and their Scarecrow Form. Here we have the witch form, which takes their more pumpkin like attributes and translates it into a pleasant witch that brews up potions in their free time. They wear a long orange dress with a subtle gradient to it, with a black midpiece held on by a small pumpkin flower. Their hat is a black witch hat with a green belt and pieces of wheat on the side, which go well with their green glasses they have on almost always. They also almost always carry their wand and broom, which they use for magic and flying around respectively.For those wondering, their gem sits on the back of their head.

This is Hallow’s Scarecrow form, used when farming out in the fields that make up part of their domain. This form swaps colors around heavily, wearing a yellow and orange plaid shirt and green overalls that show off their brown boots. The witch hat and glasses stay the same, as well as the broom that’s used in both forms, though for farming it’s delegated to cleaning up messes. The only thing missing in this form is their wand, which is usually kept in their back pocket.

A character sheet for Fairytale Diamond! This is my pal Josh’s Diamondsona, and is known as the Diamond of Famine. This is a bit of a misnomer, as he makes sure all gems that choose to eat have access to pristine, delicious delicacies. Her aura causes gems to lose all self control, entered a high like state where they act on impulse and desire. Luckily Fairytale makes sure to eat, as to not let this ability accidentally go off and cause chaos. Some are a bit turned off by his magentas and yellows in contrast to his more bug like appearance, but rest assured, Fairytale is a kind and caring soul, planning and throwing parties and balls when he isn’t required in Homeworld Politics.

A character sheet for Rosethorn Diamond, my pal Emi’s Diamondsona! Like the name suggests, she’s based off red roses, though her personality and alias as the Diamond of War tends to startle some people. She’s the leader of Homeworlds military and self defense, making sure gems are trained to know how to protect themselves and one another when out on colonization missions. She’s rather imposing with the cracks on her face, and she’s enough of the bossy type to really put this to good use. However, she’s not loud and aggressive, instead she’s levelheaded and stern; which really sells the whole ensemble. The only time she doesn’t seem pissed off and scary tends to be when she’s in her garden, though be warned; if any gem goes in, it must be with her permission, and following all the rules she sets within there. You wouldn’t want to become the next rose statue, would you?

A character sheet for the head of the authority, and my BF Caj’s Diamondsona, Frostbite Diamond! A diamond of ice and snow, Frost is the quietest and a mysterious figure amongst most of Homeworld. Whilst dressed for the winter occasion, he often tends to his Archive of Homeworld history. It’s one of his favorite pass times he tried to pass down to Cobalt before they met Crimson. Frostbite is one of the few diamonds to be able to create gems without using injectors, and this is because of his origins. Legend has it that Frost, Rose, and Fairy all were made using the ashes of humans lost to their extreme emotions in the midst of extreme accidents, but The Authority does it’s best to squish this rumor.

And at last, Vermin Diamond. My Diamondsona! Seen as the Diamond of Pestilence, they’re one of the youngest in the authority, and maintain surveillance of Homeworld. Whilst they may look partially corrupted, this is actually how they naturally look, taking on a chimera like appearance due to their connection to animal life. Their aura does somewhat corrupt them, but more akin to a slowly glitching computer bug. It will corrupt other gems, including some of the other diamonds if it gets strong enough. At its worst, Frostbite usually needs to step in to-quite literally, cool down the situation.
