My response depends on the post, but don't worry, random internet stranger, I have no qualms taking decisive action with block and mute as needed online. That's the best way to navigate algorithms dumping unwanted themes in your Discover feed. Takes a week or so to get the content to change.

Bluesky algorithm trends are weird (and, generally, F♤cked Up). A month ago, my Discover feed was a deluge of furries, with a hefty side dish of furry kink. Not applicable, but whatever. This month, the Discover feed is dead animal posts. That is much, much worse. Too much trauma for early morning.

Presumably the same people buy on the dip before the market closes for the weekend. Usually, the Friday announcements fall apart over the weekend, with stock prices rising dramatically when the market reopens Monday. Two profitable trades per week for 6 weeks so far. Some folks are making bank.

Anyone else curious about who is participating in the insider trading related to Iran/oil? Every Friday, something is announced to drop oil prices briefly, with large, related stock market transactions 15-30 minutes prior to the announcement. Then, prices drop.
