In a 6-3 ruling, the Supreme Court determined that Trump's tariffs invoked using the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA) are illegal because he exceeded his authority. Only Congress can impose tariffs; the president does not have the right to do so.

Trump's been court ordered to release SNAP funding but it's now evident that he has no intention of doing so. He posted today on his Truth Social page that he's not releasing funding until "Radical Left Democrats" pass his budget [that will cause millions of Americans to lose their health insurance]
As SNAP benefits remain paused some grocery stores offered discounts to recipients. Trump's administration stopped this by twisting the intent of SNAP's equal treatment price gouging rule that protects recipients. Discounts were never the intent of the rule.
