Mine is an X870E, but from what I'm reading there's little correlation with board brand/chipset, these failures are popping up all over the place

do not ever buy an AMD cpu, these chips are a fucking joke. used nothing but Intel for two decades and they NEVER died on me. switched to AMD in 2025 and this is now my second RMA

8 months in and I am now on my SECOND dead AMD 9800X3D. 00 code, no POST, no bios, nothing. swapped in a new 9850X3D and it booted right up. never overclocked, only undervolted, just like the first one

on the bright side, my first 9800X3D lasted 3 months so this is technically progress 😂
