off topic- are you capturing the video feed of your gamepad 👀👀👀👀
Just in time for the helium and energy crisis
We’re so back gamers
So nice of Nintendo to greenlight my entire wish list for the Switch 2 lineup
Starfox my beloved
How many copies do you think Capcom needs to sell on Switch 2 to consider it worth the trouble for a day 1 release on the system?
I can audibly hear the music rattling in my brain while reading this
Playing Mario 64 DS and listening to Childish Gambino at the same time hits different in 2026
Oh yeah I don’t know if that was me haha
Never got a chance to try that game. One day!
I have this other channel, is this what you were referring to? www.youtube.com/@thatboicott...
I have a lets play channel called Cottrello Games too
Can’t believe I shook hands with Yoshi at a grocery store 10 years ago
This is what happens when you move into the building where they made Donkey Kong Bananza.
They have flipped the Pokemon narrative
The people cry out for Hector
They figured out game specific carve outs like that for the VC 3DS games, letting you move stuff from RBY into Pokemon Bank and disabling save states so I think it’s mostly a business issue
I think Nintendo would have moved mountains to make it work for NSO
They could figure it out if they wanted to. The real issue is the games are worth too much for GF and Creatures to give away for free
Whatever lump sum or royalty Nintendo offered is way less than they’ll make it they sell it
If we’ve learned anything today, we’ve learned the Switch 2 is the DEFINITIVE system to play games where a small girl perches on your shoulder while you commit acts of violence
Zelda Breath of the Wild after 8 months: 4.7 million
Donkey Kong Bananza after 5.5 months: 4.25 million
DK had a holiday window in there but wow DK is so back gamers. We'll see if it's legs are more like Luigi's Mansion or BOTW, but it's looking nice so far
TY @axelsaurus.bsky.social for the tip!
I’m thinking somewhere in between Splat 2 and BOTW, Splatoon 3 limited the sales of 2 but we’re not seeing another 3D DK for a long time
BOTW sold 4.7 million in 8 months as opposed to DK’s 4.25 million in 5.5 months
Wow that’s actually really remarkable, although there should be consideration for some of those months being the holiday for DK’s case
Big Rick energy
Bananza is selling at about the same rate as Splatoon 2 did in 2017
DK: 4.25million from July 17th - December 31st
Splatoon 2: 4.91million from July 21st - December 31st
It will be interesting to see if it gets a second wind from the supposed 2028 movie release
LOL reminds me of my nightly Turbo Attack Donkey Kong Country Returns while I listen to videos at 1.5x speed
Loved the in depth metal foot video
Smh how did they not plan for the PC port 25 years in advance
Amazing, such a shame Ubisoft canned the series.
What's extra strange is there's no way it's gonna look as good as the movie, they wouldn't have the budget for that.
Layers of unnecessary
3 million copies as opposed to Kingdom Battle's 2 million. Ubisoft was disappointed in the opening numbers but it has continued to sell. It'll probably get another bump from the space theme of the movie. Would be ironic if the series Ubisoft canned was the best selling Mario RPG on Switch
Make Bowser playable = more sales. It's just that simple gamers
Gamers have you noticed that the best selling Mario RPGs of each kind- Rabbids, Paper Mario, and Mario & Luigi games have one thing in common?
I wonder if alliteration is popular or impactful in Japan. As a normie who tried his first Mega Man game (Besides Battle Network) like 2 months ago I like the English name

They were probably unaware lol
