One of my fav things ever is Roger Ebert ms review of it. He gave it 3 stars and there’s a part that’s like, “I can’t argue for the acting, script, or the direction. But damn it I still had a ton of fun”

Bo has kinda said for years he doesn’t think a ton of I Would Die 4 U and doesn’t feel like it fits the album. If I had to pick one off the album for weak spot it would be Take Me With You
Actually hilariously the state’s official website for stats says it was last updated in 2016 lol
I am also not 100% sure those are still the state records. It seems the state hasn’t updated their stats for like 8 years
Rex is the guy who went to my small ass high school. Hilariously he was offered a deal by the Knicks and was like I have a real good offer for a job selling insurance
The state record for points in a season is actually still from the 50s pre-3
6 year old me would have known that and I still ride with the brachiosaur more. Just gravitated toward brontosaurus on the list
Mine was playing Say It Ain’t So today. Is Weezer having a grocery store moment?!
How did these people not just stick with the one from when they were 6?! #brontosaurus4lyfe
It was mostly that the kid was shooting a 3 on the fast break. He ranted about how putting the 3 point line in was the worst decision bball ever made and it just made kids want to chuck it. That he was 1. Shooting on a fast break instead of waiting to get into the offense. 2. Looked at the line
I’ve listened to Bomani make the argument that it’s not so much the shots, but he feels like the way shots are created isn’t as enjoyable. That he prefers to see guys 1-on-1 trying to break someone down for a jumper or post move. Is this basically the gist of what you’re getting at?
We had a freshmen coach in 03 yell at someone for making sure their feet were behind the line before shooting a 3. Said it ruined flow and shooting mechanics
I thought at first this was a post from Olivia Rodrigo, having misread the name, and wow was my head spinning
I also am curious what changes they might have made to the writing staff, or if they just got better at it, as for Better Call Saul, pretty much everything about Kim is fantastic
My hot take is that BB overall wasn’t very good at writing for women characters. Felt that both Skyler and Marie weren’t really well developed compared to the men. The only women character I felt they actually wrote well was Jane and her arc is both super short and devastating
Playing Fucked My Way Up to The Top by Lana in and dedicating it to Joan
I graduated high school in 08. We once had a basketball game rained out. So opera is under delay still while they construct the opera house
Would you believe there’s a town name Vienna right outside of Youngstown. I’m from it. Only about 4000 ppl. 1 stop light. Mostly rural. And also pronounces it differently lol
I wonder if I end up depressed sometimes because the one ant-depressant commercial has a jingle that’s too catchy about being depressed
Really seems like they absolutely loathe the hotel/airport in Memphis. There’s a whole video compilation of NBA guys naming it the worst city to travel to and saying the hotel is the reason why. Talks of used beds, mystery fire alarms, and sprinklers randomly going off
That is umm fancier than the turntable setup I have lol. But at least it isn’t as crazy as I thought initially. Even if it would get more play if the extra work wasn’t required (wow that sounds lazy haha)
I somehow got a vinyl edition of Tommy that the first record has sides 1 and 4 and the second 2 and 3. Just really trying to make it the most difficult
As the world’s oldest 35 year old it’s been amazing for my arthritis and fibromyalgia
The first season def had a lot of funny moments. But it’s based around a road rage incident that keeps escalating and shit gets both intense and surreal
71 yesterday in NE Ohio. Now feels like 22, with real temp going down to 20 tonight and snow coming.
I know The Pitt is amazing and there are other good shows out there, if not great ones, but Shrinking is my fav show on tv at the moment
Was the Allen blown call in OT. Giving each team a new challenge for OT or something doesn’t seem to be egregious change and lets you get calls right when they matter the most. My hot take is we need a 4th ref. Game is too fast now for only 3
Oral Roberts on the table then lol
Legit wonder if there becomes a convo about being able to continue to challenge as long as you have timeouts and haven’t missed one. As feel like there’s been a few times this year teams could really have used that third challenge
