Article excerpt: "AI-driven authoring is our second major area of focus for 2026," said Bromberg. "At the Game Developer Conference in March, we'll be unveiling a beta of the new upgraded Unity AI, which will enable developers to prompt full casual games into existence with natural language only, native to our platform—so it's simple to move from prototype to finished product."

Just what we needed from a gamedev engine: a way to fill the market with even more slop, as fast as possible. Unity, why would you focus so much on things whose only yield for us gamedevs is a sinking depression? It seems like you really don't like us anymore

In my free time, I'm working on a control rig system for my personal project (Unity). Tried some popular ready-to-go solutions but, as always, I come back reinventing the wheel 🙄 #gamedev #unity

I think indie game developers need a cheap, open gaming platform built on fixed, deliberately limited hardware. An ecosystem where constant technological escalation disappears, speculative bubbles can't form, and creativity thrives without the gravity of hundred-person teams.

Perfect Blue truly is a masterpiece. Breaks the wall where entertainment stops and art begins. Still has something to say.

The more people can afford the hardware, the more they can spend in making their games awesome instead, which are the ultimate value they can give us!

After all these years, people is still complaining about Nintendo offering limited hardware😅 I guess it's ok for a "tech" guy. Many people consider games a piece of tech ("argh, this looks like PS3 graphics, looks old!") and forget they buy games for the FUN, ffs.

If you feel paranoid and think someone is plotting against you, it might be a good idea to take a moment to relax and calm your anger.

1 year ago 0 0 0 0

In general, anger exists to protect us from a threat or injustice—when we feel that our rights has been violated or a deserved recognition overlooked. However, this reaction can sometimes be uncontrolled or disproportionate.

While chatting with my wife, I realized that paranoia can be a consequence of anger. I believe that we often fall victim to our emotions. So, stress can trigger anger. We ask ourselves why, and when we can’t find an obvious reason, we see dots and start connecting them to make sense of that emotion.
