JoJolion anime adaptation to be released via 4 usb drives hidden around the globe, each of which contains one 15 minute segment each (the rest to be released at a later date)

It's a fun show moment to moment until the times when it isn't, basically. It doesn't have most of the things I like about Fate but I think I'll still have a good time watching the next season espeically now that they upped the states in e13. Going into it with heavily tempered expectations though

Which I could get over if I liked enough of the character dynamics... I liked the False servants and their masters broadly speaking (Flatt/F!Berserker especially), but Ayaka/Saber, Tine/Gil, and Jester were all uniquely grating to me

Even with the idea of the series being "grail war with a crazy big cast," the character bloat was real for most of this season... it really took until the last few episodes for there to be stakes more interesting than "oh shit what's this new person gonna do"

Feeling mixed coming out of the F/SF anime. Learning that that it covers half(?) the LNs took the wind out of my sails of my excitement for it a little bit b/c it feels like the story just got out of its first act. But also despite my issues it was a pretty good first season
