This Saturday from 9 to 11am, the Longview Downtowners are organizing a cleanup, and Cascade Forward is going to be there helping out. We would love to see some of our members and supporters join us. If you have a couple hours and a little love for this place, come lend a hand.

The kids are alright, y'all. We've been so impressed with them, and couldn't be more proud of how they've been standing up and speaking out!
If youre free between 1:30 to 4:00 on February 27, it's always good to have a few adults around when the kids protest to keep things safe and orderly!

The local rightwing tried to cancel our friends at Magpie Books. I've never seen the store so busy as today. Tons of people came just to show support. Nothing organized, just community support. Being hated by MAGA seems to be good business!
The American right has made clear that they have one enemy - America. Nothing to say about Russia, North Korea...the American right is at war with Minnesota. This is "patriotism" to MAGA.

Many of the tactics used by ICE are illegal. But many more are perfectly legal, rights granted to law enforcement by both Democrats and Republicans in their never ending "war on crime." Republicans are doing this, but Democrats have let them. Be better.

Not everyone is happy about us demonstrating outside the office of a Democratic representative. But we have to demand more of our elected officials than party affiliation. Our country has established a dangerous situation where many feel we owe our vote to people who give us nothing in return. Why?
