Part of my own growth over time (especially as someone who likes to give advice, both in splatoon and other competitive endeavors) is a concious focus on "backing myself up" - if I can't articulate why i think something is my stance try to find resources that do, or don't say it at all
Really need more people to learn the art of shutting up when it's not their business and frankly irresponsible for them to be speaking so confidently on something they don't have the full story on.
Let this be a lesson to younger Splatoon players to please learn how to read between the lines.

I am not going to post much about the Splat Safety video on events between Gem and Six; I think one reason this became as bad as it did was due to unrelated parties' involvement.
The one thing I'll say is that we need to stop treating these incidents as sports matches with a team you root for.
boycotting youtube would be largely ineffective because of how widely it’s used (home to news networks, multiple vtuber agencies and creators with massive audiences). it’s more effective to put pressure on the advertisers, try speaking up at vidcon or protesting in front of the HQ

Also just a brief note when we talk about "playing faster" a lot of it carries the same energy as "just stop feeding" there's a million different ways to speed up the game and 90% of them are not strictly better. Going faster the right way requires understanding of a lot of other mechanics.
