Their stances on the fanart said way more about them than hiding behind unrealistic threat of litigation. It’s bullshit.
And instead of speaking to people or attempting to be magnanimous they lie and accuse then block you

Absolutely. It really does come down to the bad guys won. They literally built their little empire on fan powered backup, fan art fan submissions all of that.
I will certainly never go and would probably give anyone I know personally shit for it

It’s difficult to be hard on people going becsuse while there’s wonderful options we’re also not drowning in kaiju conventions. But I think just even a little bit of second guessing is something that might make them lean away. Especially since bad management always slowly kills cons

I don’t think anything will change from them. But at least it can give attendees perspective and Godzilla fan artists a terrible warning! Abandon all hope ye who enters the G-Fan artist’s alley
