A Pine Marten poses in late afternoon sun. It is standing on a layer of fresh snow, which has a yellow tinge from the sun. The marten has some snow on its face. The background is mostly blurred with some trees and snow.

A Snowy Owl (male), sits on an old fence post. There are trees in the distant background and there is snow on the ground.

Thank you!
A red fox leaps into the air with all four legs visible, ready to pounce on prey below. It is a side angle of the fox, and its jumping in a meadow with long grass and a bit of snow.
Red Fox pouncing on prey.
This tactic is also known as "mousing", where the fox will leap high into the air and then dive headfirst into the snow to catch voles or other rodents. It's a lot of fun to watch, and in my experiences... they're usually quite successful. #wildlife #photography #redfox
My dad and I did a last minute road trip from ๐จ๐ฆ in 2015. Game 6 vs Tampa. One of my greatest memories. I'll always remember "Sweet Home Chicago" playing as the players celebrated and went to the handshake line. Every time I hear it, it brings me right back to the UC.
You know it's bad when most fans are rooting for a lockout.
I hope you know how much you're appreciated on Bluesky! The other site was causing me way too much stress, so I deleted my account. No going back.
As a Hawks fan, there's not a ton over here... so having your updates has made the transition much easier. Please don't leave!
Thanks, Adie!
A Black-backed Woodpecker hammers away at a red pine as snow and bark goes flying. The top of the woodpeckers crown is yellow, indicating it's a male.
A Back-backed Woodpecker (male) forages away on a red pine, as pieces of bark and snow go flying.
Black-backed Woodpeckers are usually found in the north, especially in burned out forests. Lucky for me, this guy was a few minutes from home.

You did a great job, Keegan! I enjoy when you're on the show. Cheers!
No, but when it's good, there's nothing better.

May your aluminum poles shine bright, your grievances be aired, and the Festivus miracles be plentiful. Happy Festivus everybody! #festivusfortherestofus #seinfeld

Thanks! Might have to make a few.
Thanks!

A Snowy Owl lands on the ice with a duck in one of its talons. Its wings are spread upwards like an angel, and its eyes are looking forward. The foreground and background is mostly white from the ice, and the snow falling.

A Snowy Owl looks up and takes a break from eating its prey. The photo shows a side view of the owl. The foreground is mostly covered in snow, and the background/sky is out of focus.

Cassie Campbell-Pascall was trying to justify the penalty because the refs needed to "make up" for some missed calls earlier. Either it's an interference or it's not. What are we even doing here?
The terrible penalty aside, this felt like the Seattle collapse all over again. A concerning theme.
A Bull Moose stands in the woods on a cold morning. The breath is visible thanks to the backlit sun creeping up over the treeline. The edges of the photo are dark from trees and foliage, creating a bit of a natural vignette.

Very nice, Chris!
That shot is so ridiculous. 98 is special.
Nice, Chris! Did you buy the mark iii yet? ๐
We are having so much fun.
Will this last? Probably not.
Are we having fun? Hell yes.
Thanks, Rob!
