I think the rugby law book needs changing, the holding up of the ball in the try line area where the attacking team is effectively punished for not putting the ball down should be reversed, scrum to attackers. Attacking teams should be rewarded not defensive plays #rugby #BORvTLS #ChampionsCup

Thought both centres were below par, still an issue after all these years for England. They just can’t seem to get the 12 and 13 positions right IMHO

A basic misread by Dingwall, what’s concerning is that your midfield should be the best defenders from a ā€œreading itā€ point of view and FD was totally at sea here, basic defence, also a few one on one tackles which were coach killers. Much for Borthwick to ponder

How good was McCloskey yesterday, direct & over the advantage line performance of note, what England would do to have a player like him. He was immense at Twickenham #ENGvIRE #IrelandRugby

The sooner England realize Finn Smith is the answer at 10, then the sooner results will upturn. The ever elusive 12 position is still unanswered, Borthwick has much work to do with this England side #ENGvIRE #EnglandRugby

Thought were England were poor , not enough grinders & too many luxury players in the pack. Awful defence in the backs & still looking for the correct 10 & 12 after all these years. Ireland were good yesterday but let’s not forget they scraped in against Italy & got well beaten by France

The game will always be won in the tight five, England were just not good enough up front, Joe Heyes being the only player leaving HQ with credibility. Not enough grunt up front & nobody willing to do the hard yards in the loose, too many luxury players #ENGvIRE #EnglandRugby

He is also missed a key tackle for the linebreak which set up an early French try, thought Beard was particularly poor yesterday.

Standing with Edwin Edogbo on what should have been a life highlight, keep on progressing and playing, congratulations on your debut, well deserved #IRFU #6Nations #Edogbo

What are Sky Sports doing with this ā€œIn The Boxā€ on their main channel, wow is this the best they can do from a broadcasting point of view, so so poor. Focus on the sport and analysis, reaching…. #SkySports #manuvsmancity

The All Blacks will regroup, they will come back stronger, I think a captaincy change is necessary, I think Schmidt would be the most dangerous option for other nations. Joseph has good coaching qualities, but so did Razor. Interesting times, they’ll be back for sure #AllBlacks

Lots of ā€œifsā€ in there, once the Head Coach role is cemented then it will open up the supporting roles, won’t happen before. NZ don’t want to be wasting any cash on anything but dead certs.

Thala how can that call be made when they don’t know the head coach, that’s doesn’t make sense. The All Blacks have always allowed the head coach to pick their staff, what if Schmidt gets the job and doesn’t want Brown, they pay him off? Has to be and will be head coach first & then support staff.

People suggesting that the All Blacks are trying to get Tony Brown back is just the rumour mill. Why will they try & get an assistant coach back when they haven’t firmed up the Head Coach, that’s the not the way NZ Rugby works. Strange take & certainly no credit to it #AllBlacks

I think the Scott Robertson news will lead to a change in captaincy as well, Scott Barrett’s time will be up. New coach with new ideas and a new leadership group, massive changes ahead for the All Blacks, lots of work to do before the ā€œThe Greatest Rivalry Tourā€ #AllBlacks

This is huge news - Scott Robertson, the All Blacks don’t change direction on coaches on a whim, they have been an organization of continuity and the boat must have been severely rocked with a move away from a coach with Robertson’s potential #AllBlacks

Sky Sports reacting to fan notes & becoming a clickbait organization, what happened to top quality sports reporting & broadcasting. The quality of content is really deteriorating. I recall it being at the cutting edge of sport but sadly this is no longer the case #SkySports #SportsBroadcasting

Another poor defensive performance by an SA team in this weekend’s Champions Cup, this time the Stormers. A real poor first 30 minutes from the side from Cape Town #HARvSTO #ChampionsCup

He’s as good as all the players mentioned if not slightly better (all the players mentioned are good solid players), he can certainly play and definitely has the game for Test rugby.

This Bulls v Bristol Bears game should be known as ā€œThe Battle Of The Non Defenceā€, both sides don’t seem to want to defend. Some nice attacking moves but serious questions have to be asked of the defensive coaches & players for sure #ChampionsCup #BULvBRI #Bulls #BristolBears

How can any professional side ship just under 50 points in a half, serious questions need to be asked of this Bulls team, shocking defensive performance #ChampionsCup #BULvBRS

SA Rugby has been relatively easy to criticize in the past for many a reason but the extension of Rassie’s contract shows stability and good forward thinking. Excellent news and well done to the leadership at SA Rugby #Springboks #Rassie #Rugby

I don’t believe that to be honest, I just think they haven’t managed the seeding process properly. Which in itself is a worry for a showpiece event where they need eyes on it and a favorable tournament.
