It's a proxy bonanza in the #fridaynightdump tonight with 56 separate proxies filed after 4 pm ET today!
As my grandpa used to say all the time: my piles are bleeding for them!
I'm notoriously thrifty, but Goldbelly now offering my favorite Brooklyn Sicilian pie for delivery here in LA. It's $150 for two pies delivered to me in LA, vs $35 a pie in my beloved Brooklyn. Still, with airfare prices rising rapidly.....

This was my go-to for flying to Paris from LA. Their premium economy was affordable and it got you into the much less crazy Terminal 3 at CDG.
SEC Chair Atkins to deliver a speech next week on his 1-year anniversary as chair "highlighting key achievements during his first year as SEC Chairman and priorities for the agency in the year ahead." It's set for 8:30 ET and in DC, so I'll have to catch the replay. Not worth getting up early for!
Allbirds $BIRD pivoting to AI and its stock going up over 600% on the news was not on my bingo card! Seems like a sure sign of the AI-apolocalypse though. www.cnbc.com/2026/04/15/a...
A few fun pix from Mattel's proxy filed a short time ago.
I love a proxy with fun pictures in it, instead of all that boring legalistic mumbo-jumbo. Mattel's proxy has a little bit of both. www.sec.gov/ix?doc=/Arch...
Probably not, but he also told me that college was a complete waste of money and my son should join the Navy instead.
Was at the dog park the other night chit-chatting as my dog romped and this guy tried to convince me that our president was "thinking 25 years into the future" and that us mere dog-owning mortals couldn't possibly keep up with his genius. No politics in the dog park!
Or your kids' 529?
When I lived in Paris, fresh-squeezed orange juice was available in every grocery store and cost about $5 for a liter. Here, in LA, where oranges actually grow (including in my backyard), it costs around $16. So I bought a cheap juicer and now make my own.
Amen! Thanks @proton.me
It's a bit too late for my kid, but love this idea from @proton.me that kids are not commodities to be marketed to. proton.me/blog/born-pr...
He was just a commissioner then -- not chair, so it was different.
No idea!
Not implying. Firmly stating!
No idea who Chain is, but this definitely got me to look!
On that note, see this letter from @repmaxinewaters.bsky.social to Atkins from earlier today: democrats-financialservices.house.gov/uploadedfile...
Seemed like a straight shooter to me. But hard to believe that Atkins would hire someone for this role who wasn’t overtly partisan. We’ll see.
SEC names new Director of Enforcement. I know David Woodcock from back in the day. Will be interesting to see how this works. www.sec.gov/newsroom/pre...
Wrote a short item for New York Times DealBook this morning based on security cost disclosures in proxy statements. Some companies spending big bucks in aftermath of UnitedHealth incident in Dec. 2024. Scroll down to see whole item. www.nytimes.com/2026/04/07/b...
lol. I thought the same exact thing!
Just a reminder that while markets are closed today, the SEC remains open for filings!
My 15 year-old who doesn't drive or even have a learner's permit got this text scam message today supposedly from @ladotofficial.bsky.social. A quick search shows its BS. www.instagram.com/p/DWU5NADj2F...
Interesting @politico.com story on the Governor's race in CA. Both me and my husband are very dialed in. He gets most of his news from YouTube and podcasts. I have subscriptions to 6 different news outlets. And we can't keep track of who's running for Gov. www.politico.com/news/2026/04...
There was a 45 minute wait outside the Burbank Costco earlier this week because the $5.69 gas was the cheapest in town!
Especially when she said 50,000 dollars, instead of points, which really made her sound clueless!
My new bathroom was finished yesterday and I planned to name it after Pam Bondi because I moved money out of the market to pay for it when she screamed about the Dow hitting 50,000. The timing seems perfect!
