The ol’ kegerator died so we had to switch to a “Keezer” setup. Loving it…and this Chicken Schnitzel! Prost!

Chilly day at the Zoo with Isaac and Eleanor! We get the season pass every year so we can pop-in when it’s not too busy. Reptile house was closed today, major bummer…

A perfectly “closed-transfer” of beer from the Fermenting keg to the serving keg. I use just a wee bit of CO2 pressure to push the finished beer through a floating dip tube to a clean and oxygen-purged keg. It took me many batches to figure this out but now it’s easy!

“Dry Bones” Pilsner. The driest beer I’ve ever made coming in at 0.950 Final Gravity. I fermented with enzymes to get it there, LD-20 from Fermantis. Taste like a Japanese dry lager, very unique, it’s got bite!

“Westies for my Besties” West Coast IPA with Cascade, Mosaic, and Strata hops. 7% ABV. A beer brewed with love and nostalgia for the hoppy ales of yore! (2004-2010ish)
