Netflix you're increasing your price AGAIN? $20 are you FUCKING with me, you are NOT worth that much, not in a million years.

BTW, David Edelstein sucked when he wrote this and has always sucked.
Speed Racer was fantastic to see in IMAX again, it was an IMAX movie on a weeknight and the room was almost 100% full which is amazing to see, also randomly here's David Edelstein's review of Speed Racer
Just a reminder, possibly the last time you'll get to see Speed Racer in IMAX, one night only, today. Arguably one of the greatest movies ever made, and yes I stand by that. www.imax.com/movie/speed-...
Nah, i think you know exactly what is up when you get that message, it's always bad.
"Alright"
"OK"
"Fine"
What are the other knights of "never send anyone just this message" apocalypse?

The New York Times is now blocking The Wayback Machine from accessing its articles.
That means you'll no longer be able to view archived versions of NYT stories published in 2026 and beyond on archive.org.
(All those posts you see tracking changes to NYT headlines and ledes? They relied on WBM).
Jasper has many many many opinions.
He is very cute, if slightly loud.
Black-and-white photo of a Tacoma News Tribune exhibit at the Western Washington Fair, 1964. A large overhead sign reads “Tacoma News Tribune,” with an “Information” counter beneath it. At left, two men—one in glasses and a cardigan, the other in a hat and overcoat—stand beside an Associated Press machine displaying photos and news pages. At right, three women and a young boy gather at the counter, speaking with a staff member. A rack of newspapers and display boards with photos and diagrams are visible in the background. What is it with all of these weird fucking adults who want to make it harder for adults to enjoy adult things?
Why the hell is ESPN covering an event with a preplanned outcome and winner like WrestleMania?
Clueless, just watch that and you'll be good.
This MUST be stopped, along with the rest of the shitty world govs pushing all this Age Verify crap.
It has never been about the kids, it's all about control and order to them. Every single time ID's have been demanded, all have gotten leaked or sold to malicious third parties, especially in the UK.
Happy Tax Day, New York. We’re taxing the rich.
Didn't you live through that time too?
Also to answer that question, we have a store here called "Ollie's Good Stuff Cheap" which is the most depressing place I've ever been. Front is full of books (mostly religious, that no one wanted) just sad, depressing place with a staff that does not want to be there.
You could pretty much summarize that entire movie with, "Everything you've seen before but worse"
I had to look up this "Bi-Way". Yep, there was a store called that. Could explain a lot from the Canadians I know :)
I'm just reminded how shitty the Mario Galaxy movie was, they had a joke in it involving a Rob the Robot as a slow receptionist which was just a joke stolen from Zootopia! That movie had absolutely nothing original or interesting going for it.
Man, again, Chao! was a really weird, neat strange movie, playing for two more days. gkids.com/films/chao/t... You may love it or hate it but you'll definitely have a reaction to it.
FITCON 2008 in Melbourne, Florida
Chao! Was such a lovely palette cleanser after the garbage of the Mario Galaxy movie. It's nice seeing something inventive with ideas and creativity and not just corporate slop.
Chao! From Studio 4c was lovely, go and see it, weird, strange, sweet, definitely worth it.
Aww sweetie, and so many figures!
Supermarionation changed my life. Lady Penelope and Sylvia Anderson were pioneering women of the 60s. Being part of Fanderson brought so many fab people into my life, including my partner Steve who made art for the very first convention almost 50 years ago. How many people inspire a generation?
Now if they'd just said, "The Decline of Final Fantasy" that would have held up!
URGENT! The Massachusetts House just passed a "social media ban" that would force YOU to upload a government ID or submit to a face scan to post online. CALL YOUR STATE SENATORS! 978-485-4694
Okay bluesky I need your help
I live in Massachusetts. You might think we're a bastion of lefty intellectualism but our state government a clusterfuck of post-puritan real estate bros
