Following changes by @celestrak.bsky.social, it's possible some users of SatDump (I've already gotten reports, especially for anyone running more than a single SatDump instance) will experience issues updating TLEs.

I have no easy way to fix this at the moment...

Arena Magazine Technology, Capitalism, Civilization.

"Our mission is "American Propaganda" because we simply don't compromise about being on America's side, and on the side of people who do big things in America." arenamag.com/about Evidemment fondé par un de ces crypto/ia/bullshito bro.

I once saw one with a tft fitted on it with an adapter board but I couldn’t tell if it was an off the shelf kit or something custom. Just know that it’s possible.

Barium ion spectroscopy at 493nm with improved low-noise optogalvanic front-end. You don't even need a lock-in amplifier at this point :D Top curves are raw ADC data.

Playing with Emerge Electro-Mag solver from Robert Fennis github.com/FennisRobert... it's promising and well architectured ! Maybe I'll switch from OpenEMS to this one in the coming months/year.

Ring cancels its partnership with Flock Safety after surveillance backlash Flock off

The showed us cute missing dogs & we consented to turning our doorbell cameras into a mass human tracking system.

Mark my words, Ring's Search Party will become the next Flock.

Only instead of just being sketchy cameras installed in parking lots, it will be everywhere. That's their play.

I would say til nothing goes wrong it’ll be tolerated but no it’s not as easy as being under 1W (which for Europe is super high only one sub band of 868MHz allow 500mW with really low duty cycle most is this are limited to 25 to 100mW)

Not valid at all in Europe. The duty cycle matters especially if you don’t do LBT…. Also you’re technically responsible of the CE compliance of those thingies transmitting in ISM band. In this case the easiest standard to apply is the EN300220

I agree that for maximum user ISM is certainly the best place.

I’m no law expert but in my opinion that means excluding non ham from the network. You can’t use ham status and transmit data without a callsign. About experimentation… there are a lot of them in and even with open and documented modulation. meshtastic is better in ISM imo for max user and crypto.

I have no problem with the project I like it a lot but I just want people to not mix hamradio and those kind of project :)

3 months ago 0 0 1 0

When some gvt will find that this use of meshtastic is a problem they will take opportunity to act against ham radio right too….
