Yeah, I guess the counterargument is metrics-based, or harder to track, and at least retweet replies happen in the same place as the original post. But both are valid! Hopefully metrics matter a bit less on Bluesky, or at least not to the same degree.

I was always told by artists not to quote retweet cuz it takes away interaction from them onto your post.

Man if only I had a way to import my twitter follows onto Bluesky. That's really the worst part of the transfer process.

Gotta say, as much as I love Bluesky so far, they have to fix how their page customization works. The banner especially, if it isn't already pre-cropped to the proper sizing, its just an absolute pain to crop and get right.
