Metal Gear Solid is one of my top 3 favorite series (along with Ace Combat and Command & Conquer) and honestly I have no desire to see an MGS movie. A huge point of it is that it's Kojima's homage to so many of his favorite movies along with all kinds of weird meta stuff you can only do in games.

Captured by the 1st Minnesota Infantry Regiment at the Battle of Gettysburg, the flag was brought to Minnesota and exhibited at the state's capitol for several years before passing into the permanent collection of the Minnesota Historical Society after 1896 where it has remained since.
