They finally sneak home with two balls to spare. Samjhana Khadka who scored 48 off 42 must have been looking in bewilderment at the rest of the side (31 off 77)
Following 2 consecutive wicket maidens, they are now 86-8 at the end of the 19th.
Nepal doing their best to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. They were 74-1 half way through the 13th over chasing Rwanda's 88. They are now 86-7 in the 18th.
'You're the fifty-seventh feller that's told me that,' I says. 'Then you have known fifty-seven brilliantly witty people,' he says. 'I congratulate you.' (PG Wodehouse, Spring Fever)
Is Aarhus in the middle of Aarstreet?
Congratulations, perhaps you can inspire the rebirth of Danish cricket while you are there.
There's a term "Binmenism" for Facebook groups that think everything was better in the past. She always makes me think of Binmenmania - the logical next stage.
Really tense finish between Rwanda and USA, but Rwanda win by 1 run as Bimenyimana only concedes 4 singles and a bye off the last over. Rwanda's catching almost cost them, particularly when an easy chance off Ritu Singh was palmed over the boundary for 6, but US left their acceleration too late.

There just isn't enough women's test cricket played for any meaningful analysis. (Obviously the last 4 words can be removed here too).
A Deepti deep dive to see if Deepti Sharma should still be an automatic choice for the Indian WT20 side.
Her credit is very high, I can't believe she will actually be dropped. But it's remarkable that it is being discussed. I do think she won't be in the top 6.
Thanks to @supertrampms.bsky.social and @womenscricblog.bsky.social for prompting me to investigate. I'd thought that the case for the defence was a little stronger than it was!

We know Mahika Gaur is at her most dangerous with the new ball, but surely if she's England standard she should have been given another spell before the game was all but lost.
Clearly on the evidence of this winter's international cricket, NZ are going to retain their WT20 title.
Bronze medal winners.
Final table combining the T20 and 50 over matches, after Sri Lanka beat Australia by 3 runs in the final match.
Assume she's still injured, she went off the field while Essex were bowling last round.
It was a classic Armitage knock, lots of good shots, put away the bad balls, held the innings together but not quite able to score enough of the good balls to make it a match winning effort.
Slightly mischievous of @norcrosscricket.bsky.social to describe Grace Scrivens as a favourite of @rafnicholson.bsky.social on comms there.
#SpéirGhorm #SpéirGorm, I need your help. Does anyone know Damien Baxter who is flying to Biarritz from Dublin today to do the Camino Francés? He took my backpack by mistake at airport and I need to contact him urgently. Pls share this and help me find him!
And it's raining. Have, perchance, the ICC scheduled another tournament in a country's rainy season to save money?
"Rwanda's long rainy season lasts from about March to May, when the rain is heavy and persistent."
Ah, yes they have.
We're away in the ICC Challenge Trophy with hosts Rwanda against Italy. USA, Nepal later on, Vanuatu start their campaign tomorrow. The teams nestle next to each other in rankings but Italy are without Piparo and Wikman, US without Claridge and Norris, so I think Rwanda and Nepal are the favourites.
Yes, they clearly (and rightly) don't trust her to score quick runs, but her value has been when they lose early wickets and need someone to stabilise the innings. So, her batting position has always been fluid. But they need to have 6 better bats than her or Gautam/Reddy to have enough firepower.
She's only just finished as the leading wicket taker in a World Cup. Her figures in T20 haven't been as good, partly because she bowls the tough overs. I just think she should be at 7 not 6. Shafali & Anushka might sneak through an over or two but it's asking a lot for them to bowl in England.
Yes, I guess they played both Reddy and Gautam as they are ok with the bat, but they are both 8s rather than 7s. Deepti's batting form is a real concern, but I think she's still in India's best 5 bowlers. But everyone from Ghosh downwards looked a place to high today.
India look a batter light when Amanjot isn't playing, and a bowler light when she is. Their best players are good enough to win a lot of games by themselves, but the balance isn't quite right.
