common that we'd see it multiple times in a week, it felt like. Maybe that was just Twitter, but websites crashing definitely happened back then.
It just happens more now and I think it's a lot more noticeable now because more people are on those sites.

I do remember someone saying that "back in my day sites didn't go down all the time" and I have to immediately counter that with, Twitter went down so often back in the 2010s and they had that whale page being lifted up by all the tweety birds, and there was a time when the "failwhale" page was so
I would rather use bluesky over most alternatives, and I wouldn't go back to X for any reason, however, bluesky literally DDOS'ing themselves is like extremely embarrassing.
Superman is awesome and if you canβt find a way to tell a good Superman story without it being boring, sincerely, skill issue

The first person he meets is a woman around his age, Alyx, who translates for him when she takes him back to the village she's been staying at.
has an atmosphere, and even if the conditions are on the colder side, life shouldn't exist at all. So what's going on? To add insult to teleportation, Spim also removes Kyle's memory of their encounter, so Kyle has no idea how he got there, where he is, or when the sun might rise.
This thread is about a novel WIP tentatively called Outcast, which is a complete reimagining of my very first story idea I had when I was 8.
A guy named Kyle pisses off a godlike entity called Spim, which teleports him onto a rogue planet way off in space. The rogue planet has no sunlight, but
I got Marathon and enjoyed it a bit, and yet I'm rapidly figuring out that multiplayer FPS games just aren't my thing anymore. Some friends got me to play Fortnite and same thing there. They just don't hit like they used to. If I want to play an FPS with people I'd much rather play Helldivers 2.
It's actually extremely easy.

Starfield I got to mod it but aside from some clothes and some ship mods, I haven't done much modding. I just finished the Freestar Rangers quest and hit level 30.
Pragmata I've only put about an hour into, but I'm loving the combat, and Diana is such a cute character.
I think I just went into my single-player game era.
If my daughter told me two of her heroes were Greta Thunberg and AOC I'd question her because she's 4
If she told me that a bit closer to like, 9-10 I'd be overjoyed
Pragmata launch tonight/tomorrow
How are you doing??
This is the single funniest thing I have ever seen Bluesky staff do.
I wrote! I got to 9k! And then I bought starfield and I've already put over 30 hours into it π
Sometimes you need to disappear for a while.
i think there was like a push to not have emotionally stunted characters in popular fiction for awhile when its like emotional stunting is how you get character arcs. The characters can be a broad spectrum of stunted like in real life
Maybe I need to accept that I can't insert structure into a first draft that was fully pants'd and I just need to start the draft with the structure already there.
How do I stop writing first drafts and enjoy editing when writing something else is what brings me the dopamine?
I feel like I'm stuck forever in a draft hell where I write a first draft, or a significant portion of one, and then I edit it somewhat and then I have another idea and I go and write that. And that's one thing! But now I have like, 3-5 serviceable first drafts and I have such a hard time editing.

How make book good question?
I CHALLENGE you all to stop labeling big, teethy, faux-treasure chests Mimics.
A Mimic isn't a fake treasure chest. It's a monster that can look like something it's not to draw in prey. It can look like ANYTHING. That's why it's called a MIMIC.
DRAW IT AS SOMETHING ELSE. *ANYTHING* ELSE.
