The Iguanodon also gives thumbs up to anyone smart enough to not mess with it. Pachycephalosaurus and Edmontosaurus round out my top three. A disgrace to see none of them getting respect.

I haven't kept up with them, which feels weird. You'd think a band that basically started their career by making perfect music for a decade would've stayed a listening priority, but for me listening to Mono requires full engagement. Not really small-servimg listen-as-I-go music.

For fretless bass, the first name to come to my mind is always going to be Michael Manring

"turn around, don't drown" may come across as drastic, but it is better communication than to defer to the potentially flawed judgements of the general public.
This is the sort of thing I was hoping for when I hit "see more replies"
Or, Voyager would have never got sent to the delta quadrant, but he would have been alone on a shuttle and sent there on his own.

Once, while exhausted being admitted to the ER, I had to ask for clarification when I thought the admissions nurse asked, in a thick southern accent, if I had a "metal knife"
I had apparently neglected to put my middle name on some paperwork.
Your last saved meme is your moral philosophy
John Cusack. Purely irrational. I am not aware of any reason to be viscerally repulsed by his presence, but I've never seen him in anything where I didn't come away feeling justified in my distaste.
Black text on a yellow background - This is Alice's friend Sandy Ho, posting. Per Alice's wishes, this message is being shared at the time of her passing. Hi everyone, it looks like I ran out of time. I have so many dreams that I wanted to fulfill and plans to create new stories for you. There are a few in progress that might come to fruition in a few years if things work out. I did not ever imagine I would live to this age and end up a writer, editor, activist, and more. As a kid riddled with insecurity and internalized ableism, I could not see a path forward. It was thanks to friendships and some great teachers who believed in me that I was able to fight my way out of miserable situations into a place where I finally felt comfortable in my skin. We need more stories about us and our culture. You all, we all, deserve the everything and more in such a hostile, ableist environment. Our wisdom is incisive and unflinching. I'm honored to be your ancestor and believe disabled oracles like us will light the way to the future. Don't let the bastards grind you down. I love you all.
“Don’t let the bastards grind you down. I love you all.”
this is a far more explicit death threat from people with the actual means to carry it out
BlueSky is a bad site used by good people. That describes most social media sites. But BlueSky is egregiously unethical. Any of you can be disappeared for baseless reasons. I've been on social media for 17 years and never been suspended. BlueSky is the first place to do so – over Johnny Cash lyrics.
Director Guillermo del Toro, seated for an interview in front of a red background, wearing thick-rimmed glasses
Ralphie from 'A Christmas Story' clinging to a red slide in a department store, wearimg thick-rimmed glasses
Surely I can't be the only one who saw the stills from del Toro's recent interview while hastily scrolling through the feed mistook it for Ralphie.
Also forgotten by my: that I even had the '400 Days' DLC. Given that I haven't unlocked any of the achievements for completing the chapters of it, I think I don't remember buying it in part because I never played it.
I had forgotten that hoping The Walking Dead would run on my aging laptop was why I started a steam account. Those Telltale load times were a bear, but it ran.
Oh jeez, Haggis is the most relatable fictional character I've seen in a long time and I worry for what that says about me.

I'm not familiar with the quiz, but the framing of these as opposites seems odd. I don't know if it would serve the same purpose within the quiz, but "irrational/rational" seems like it would work and have the added bonus of avoiding the ableist undertones of casually throwing around "deranged"
In observation of Bandcamp Friday, I might as well share this link to my EP of instrumentals

I don't know particularly about their business practices, but the first place I'd look for electronics would be newegg.com
No one's listening, but I might as well post this link more often, anyway. Instrumental EP self-promo open.spotify.com/album/1xG39t...
Here's an EP of instrumental music by my brother and me. It's not a huge time commitment, so go on and give it a listen

Nothing too exciting. Mostly stuff a lot of guitarists would be comfortable picking up: bass, lap steel, octave mandolin(though I haven't played it in quite a while.) Long ago I had a bass clarinet and I loved it but was never any good and playing it gave me headaches.
Disabled(MS) mostly guitar but a few other things as well. I was a guitarist well before any MS concerns and, unfortunately it hasn't seemed to fully hold off the troubles MS has given my right hand, but it seems to at least help slow the worsening.
When Jean Genie makes a greatest hits, you know the bench is pretty thin. But damn if Life On Mars or Modern Love don't stand up as all-time greats.
