The cynical culture of crying “self-promo” is so weird and sad on the site. Guess we should have posted screenshots of comic covers from pirate sites or something equally constructive for the internet comic book forum community.

As soon as it started to get some traction it looks like our reddit account has been banned/suspended despite posting full, original articles written by humans. Only ever linked back to the site on the rare and small subreddits designed for that.
This week we took a look at the last issues of Ultimate Spider-Man by Hickman and Checchetto, but to be honest this becomes a commentary on the industry as much as anything else. Enjoy!
It looked/sounded edgy and cool and I was a kid, that was it. I ended up watching every episode of the Arrowverse, and I had plenty of friends watch the shows, none of whom ever touched a comic.
While I can mostly agree with Morrison condemning the instinctive urge to buck superhero conventions, I have to play devil’s advocate.
When I was a teen I had never thought of a Green Arrow comic book and I likely would not have tuned in to Arrow if the show was called that.
