Hi, sorry this is @nearchitecture.bsky.social who took this lovely photo.
Currently working through the technical bits. But hopefully we can get this up soon.
Swindon and Wiltshire Pride Trans Solidarity Rally - 1 year on from the supreme court 19th April 2026 10:30am - 11am start Wharf Green, Swindon Town Centre
We will be reporting on this tomorrow.
If you are going, see you there.
I think I have "one more" turned it too hard. It's now 3am and I should have gone to sleep earlier.
Promotional graphic with a dark red background. Text reads: “New scheme invests in queer accountability journalism and LGBTQIA+ journalists.” Smaller text below reads: “Queer reporters, make a queer newsroom.” At the top, a smartphone mockup displays a webpage titled “Understand the LGBTQIA+ news: Supreme Court ruling changes the landscape for Trans+ rights in the UK.”
Investigative journalism is how we fight back. We’re backing more queer journalists to deliver it
Here’s how 👇🧵
Alongside when trans youths healthcare was withdrawn in NYC. Mamdami did nothing.
I think this is an important cautionary tale to keep in mind. And that we need to keep our party leadership accountable.
As much as I'm a keen green activist. We need to be careful not to have this happen twice with Zack Polanski.
We saw outspoken support for the trans community by zohran before he got elected. And now he is mayor he hasn't engaged properly with this...
The meat is starting to feel so much softer when I give it a poke.
Think I have an hour and bit left before dinner. So I should get some good nice tender beef brisket.
Maybe I need to pivot from being a journalist to just exclusively posting about food I've cooked...
Status update on food.
A Crockpot with no lid with onions, a beef brisket and a brown stock in it. White tiles behind and with a plug socket behind too.
The hotpot addiction continues.
This time I got up at 7 am to ensure it has a ridiculously long amount of time to cook.
Alongside this I sear the meat and brown it to make sure the juices don't escape the brisket.
My dad suggested I try putting some red wine in too so I'm trying that out.

Not In Our Name's letter is at over 99,000 signatures; with less than 1000 signatures to go until 100,000!
Let's give them a good push over the 100k mark!

NEW ARTICLE: Government to act on EHRC trans guidance in May, Equalities Minister says.
Read here: whatthetrans.com/government-t...
Not in Scotland but want to make sure all levels of the Labour party hear your voice against this?
Got a local Labour councillor?
Write to them today and tell them anti-trans politics like this aren't winning your vote in May:

"the need for a new party on the left in Scotland couldn’t be more urgent"
It seems the green party doesn't quote old dead Russians No one gives a shit about enough for them...
WHY ARE WE PROTESTING? In April 2025, the UK Supreme Court ruled that gendered terms such as "man", "woman" and "sex" used in the Equality Act refer to binarist and undefined ideas of "biological sex". This legally states that trans+ people are not the gender they identify as, enabling anti- trans ideologues to exclude trans people from spaces which align with their gender- spaces which are necessary to ensure safety for trans lives. It has also spurred the anti trans lobby to launch greater attacks on trans rights. Examples Include: Rushed "legal guidance" from the EHRC which violated the human rights act and was branded unworkable by over 650 businesses Legal threats from so called "feminist" anti- trans lobbyists causing women's organisations such as Girl Guides to ban transgender members or face shutting down Legal challenges to the presence of trans women in women's spaces which have been defeated in court; proving that the ruling which was supposed to bring "clarity" is nonsense Increased attacks on trans healthcare: anti- trans campaigners have called for medical trials for under- 18 trans healthcare to be stopped, despite initially claiming that "evidence based treatment" was what they wanted All lifesaving medical transition for under 18s has been stopped. The NHS is currently reviewing the provision of medical transition for 18-25s. At 18-25 you can join the army and sign up to die - but not decide what treatment is best for you ST HELEN'S SQUARE, APRIL 11th 1PM Instagram: @transactiongroup
A list of all 10 protests. This can be found on the website linked.
With one more protest from York added, there are now TEN protests for trans rights this weekend!
Details of all of them can be found here: whatthetrans.com/compilation-...
We have also added 2 additional actions to the website overnight.
Can confirm. Without the hard work of @tincanaudio.co.uk and @amberrowanroberts.bsky.social our episodes of WTT would never never be out on time.
But alongside WTT changing. We still have the gigantic fight ahead. The supreme court ruling, the Cass report and so much more.
Gonna be another interesting 4 years coming up.
Times have certainly changed. And wtt has certainly changed significantly since I joined back in 2022.
I became executive producer for wtt back in October 2023 and we have expanded massively. We now put out reporting consistently and to the highest quality we can get it to.
I remember saying in a previous episode that most of my experience of coming out and existing as a trans person revolved around journalism.
I've definitely done so much that I'm really proud of. The special episodes we did on the pod. All the photography and reporting.
I wish I could say the time has flown past. But those 4 years have felt so long ago.
I remember I hadn't even decided what name I was gonna use when I went to that protest.
Looks like it is 4 years today since I did my first journalism report on a protest.
youtu.be/Ris6eMUAHGI?...
I made this video before I got asked to join WTT. And it all went from there really.
If you are planning an action or see that we haven't got it listed on this site. Please get in touch!

Just want to shout out @nightkristina.bsky.social who has put in the hard work getting this page back up and running after I burnt out from updating this list back in April when the supreme court ruling hit.
Some really good work here.
A fantastic new article from @mimihansford.bsky.social about Pink News her former employer.
PinkNews really made a big mistake doing what they did with... *gestures at everything*

see instagram https://www.instagram.com/p/DVwJapNDGIO/?img_index=1 On the 11th of April, TERF group '199 Days Later' plans to march in Westminster, demanding the government takes further discriminatory and exclusionary action against the trans community. We will not let them go unopposed. We marched in our thousands after the Supreme Court ruling, but it didn't end there. Join us at 12PM on the 11th of April to continue the fight for trans liberation. ✊️🏳️⚧️
https://www.instagram.com/p/DWetxQNjk7e/ SATURDAY 11TH APRIL, 12.15PM, CENTRAL SQUARE, CARDIFF Trans Kids Deserve Better is calling a counterdemo of the upcoming 'One Year Later' demo in Cardiff, Wales which aims to pressure politicians and the general British public to do more to implement the Supreme Court ruling on what defines a women. This ruling states that legally a person's sex refers to their sex assigned at birth, as opposed to the gender they are living as. This opens up opportunities for transphobes to exclude genderqueer people from single sex spaces entirely, or force them to use facilities misaligned with their gender expression, leading to a higher potential for violence and harressment, especially towards transfemmes. TERFs want trans people to be isolated and cast away from public spaces. We must show up in our masses to show them that us and our allies exist, and that we will never back down, nor live in fear. There are MANY more of us than them, and we will not let devision and bigotry plague our streets.
