Anything under the Logs or Invocations blade?
As with any LLM, you need to frame your question within a certain context. Yes, the code is a context but additional context is often required to be called out. I've found configuration things require such additional context. Good luck with your project and using LLMs in your process!
Trouble with azure services! South central US.
Going into the holidays, make sure you have coverage for incidents and on call! Training on any run books and playbooks should have already been completed. It is six days before Christmas. Do you know how to recover to another region?

What does it mean for other clouds when one Hetzner raises prices? Price increases as well?
Do computers run faster when they are cold or hot? If there is a difference, how big is that difference? Asking for a friend.. 🫠
I’m thankful that I didn’t have an outage.
Happy Monday everyone. Hope you had a quiet weekend!
Have you prepared for an incident free holiday? If so, how? Run books, playbooks, disaster preparedness plans? Let’s hear it!
Hope everyone is having an incident free day. 🛜✅
His do we feel about container hosting? Prefer something like container apps, function apps, or something larger like AKS?
What flavor database do you like and why? Bonus points if it is no longer supported.
Great article! It makes a lot of good points. It must be tough to manage Pulumi stacks in 7 languages and the absolute swamp of YAML one could create. Would you hire a DevOps per language? Or mandate everyone use, say, coffeeScript?
Maybe not right now but having the *ability* to add the complexity could be detrimental. See stacker/troposphere/cloudformation. Restricting the ability for logic early on would make it easier to refactor. I’m all for speed in development but prefer stability and scale.
Great finds! Day two here and already getting the good stuff. IMHO HCL’s limited ability for implementing logic encourages simplicity. When you can overlay already complex language logic on top and within your IaC definition, it could be dangerous to make changes. Would love to learn more!
Anyone use IaC? What’re your thoughts on bicep vs terraform/tofu?
Brain and heart talking in a four panel comic Panel 1: heart: imagine you could have one superpower, what would it be? Panel 2: heart: flight, invisibility, super strength, anything! Panel 3: brain: running databases on Kubernetes’s reliably. Panel 4: heart: that’s not very realistic. Brain: I know.
Relatable meme.
PaaS for moving quickly with high reliability. But now you are beholden to that service. I’d assume most go the PaaS route, as database maintenance can be a headache.
Containers+file/blob storage are less expensive. More expensive to maintain IMHO as you now have to do your own db maintenance.
Thoughts: database PaaS or run database in containers? 🧵
