bratty eldest son/designated heir who REALLY doesn't want the responsibility and keeps misbehaving in hopes of being taken out of the line of succession while getting increasingly jealous of "his" younger "brother's" princessification

Ponder, instead of sending them into the clergy/off to war, an organization that promises to help deal with those pesky "extra" sons by way of princessification...

You look at other pilots, their facial orifices unsecured, exposed, empty... you pity them. Are they of so little use as to be left unsecured? Or do their handlers not care for them as much as your own? You would ask, but that would mean removing your gag for a useless purpose.

It isn't long before you secretly thrill at the muzzle being secured. Certainly serving your handler is the most important thing... but the confirmation that that is your mouth's ONLY purpose, that you are valued enough to be kept so safe and secure?

it's the only time your mouth is useful. Items that aren't in use should be secured in storage. The muzzle keeps you secured, and the gag underneath keeps you mindful of your use, and focused on the next opportunity to serve your handler.
