Downton Abbey character Lady Violet, the Dowager Countess of Grantham, who often wore iconic shades of lavender. The rose is even more exquisite with a magenta-colored heart on the inner petals. Violet’s Pride™ has fully double blossoms with a strong fragrance borne mostly solitarily. Heirloom Roses

A very pretty rose with glowing apricot-pink blooms with delicately ruffled petals. The stem is red-tinged, the buds are apricot-pink, and as the blooms open they take on a rich apricot fading to a delicate pink.

California has only been part of America for 150 years. There are families who have lived here longer than America has been America.

Elizabeth, majestic rose bearing clusters of large, crisp apple blossom pink rosettes, paling to the gentlest blush white. She has a strong, sweet, fresh fragrance with hints of lemon sherbet and Old Rose

Their leafs will tell you what they want. You have the big floppy leaf variety (which can get a little messy when they get big). If they droop- give them a big drink of water. Otherwise they’re very easy to please.

I really don’t want to leave.. being back in my hometown has been deeply healing and I just wish I had more time with my family.
I’m just not ready to go back to the noise, pollution, and the abundance of cement. ❤️‍🩹

Omg you are in for a treat!! Get them in the ground or a bigger container asap. Usually Shasta daisies are quick to flower BUT when they’re young they can be delayed as they try to get established.
They are prolific bloomers all through October! also do well with roses if you want a neighbor plant

No see the problem is I have a fat face and the bangs just pronounce it.
I’m just gonna have to suck it up and pin them back for the next 9 months

Youre sooo lucky to have one with spots!! I haven’t seen a spotted ladybug in many years. There’s a spotless asian ladybug that’s super invasive taking over in the west coast.
Take good care of her!!

As a little girl, I was taller than this tree. 30 years later it’s two stories high!
Been feeling really emotional seeing how much my hometown has changed .. I’ve been gone for so long.

This lilac shrub has been growing in the backward of my childhood home for decades! It’s very special to me- it watched me grow up✨
Today I harvested a few flowers and made a lilac simple syrup for some lilac lemonade to enjoy on my last day before I fly back to LA

Learning the language of plants is an ever growing process- which is kind of the best part! You never stop learning!

I love how certain colors in a certain combination can impact the way an image makes you feel emotionally.

Likely due to his own internal struggle with sexuality. The men who are the most violent toward gays are almost always gay themselves.
This is so deeply tragic.

Fainting is usually from too much heat or not enough water. Black eyed Susan’s are tropical plants- they LOVE the heat. So- my suggestion would be to give them a deep watering. Especially if they’re newly planted!
I have a 2 story wall of pink black eyed Susan’s- I’m here if you have any questions!!

Spotted this bachelor heard in my mom’s back yard.
When bucks reach maturity, they’re pushed out of the heard.
These young guys stick together as they grow, build social skills, and learn how to live on their own! They’re not ready to compete for mates yet- they’re just here to pal around

Fun fact: Plants don’t absorb chlorophyll—they make it! 🌿 Chlorophyll is the green pigment that helps them soak up sunlight and turn it into energy through photosynthesis! ☀️💚
