In my experience of SAG-AFTRA’s provably racist “solidarity” double-standards, the most representative #SagAftraMember sibling pair would be Cain and Abel.

Amen! Let’s also celebrate Arab American #SagAftraMembers by showing union pay gaps in this tough industry.
Every contract. Every year. You have the data. Make their median ability (or inability) to feed themselves with union income, compared to other #SagAftraMembers, visible. #SAGTransparency

Today’s album launch is an exciting day for us, with years of lead-in. And there’s all this release stuff we’re supposed to do. But it can wait. Because the most important thing we can say is: thank you.
🍀 Happy St. Patrick’s Day! My new original orchestral Danny Boy is LIVE – epic arrangement, cinematic orchestra, signature vocals! #StPatricksDay #DannyBoy #TayZonday #IrishMusic #StPaddysDay #Orchestral
Just uploaded my new original song: Don’t Feel Right When Your World Is Wrong

New drop: Tay Zonday’s 2026 take on Dragonborn (Skyrim main theme).
Commanding vocals over Walt Ribeiro’s orchestral arrangement — baritone depth → soaring highs with layered harmonies, English + Dragon language subtitles.
Many more epic orchestral covers planned. What do you want next?
Should auld acquaintance be forgot? 🏴
My synthestrated "Auld Lang Syne" with Scottish flair — mellow start, big belting crescendo, and a smiling "Happy New Year" at the end. Lyrics on-screen! 🥂🎉

My deep-voiced take on 'O Holy Night' – a brand new 2025 arrangement I sang and synthestrated 🎄✨ Merry Christmas, everyone!
Rest in peace, my friend.
I experience it all as extremely heavy-handed and obvious— having first posted on the social Internet at nine-years-old in 1991.
That’s fair. I lean towards “labeling can be oppressive” (I carefully separate that from “is”) in a Ralph Ellison sense. And my one-time mentor Roderick A. Ferguson in his book “The ReOrder Of Things.”
“Never” inherently oppressive aligns with Richard Wright, Bell Hooks and Beverly Daniel Tatum.
Not afro-diasporic literacy as a counterculture to modernity (Paul Gilroy) . . .
I could go on.
We are where we are today partly because the demand for feeling virtuous as a status flex is higher than the demand for selfless intellectual militancy.
One problem is that taxonomic (labeling) "sin" itself can be oppressive.
It's European enlightenment rationalism literacy-
Not African post-structuralist literacy as Henry Louis Gates Jr. documents;
Nor literacy (including gender/sexuality) in American Indian experiences;
It's Mayflower Power.
Yes. A lot of it is because The Internet forces "the revolution" to become "The Grift-O-lution"--
What you have to say now doesn't scale unless you piggyback legitimate moral grievance on incidental trends.
You must hijack a trend narrative for yourself like a surfer catches a wave.

I stopped understanding consumer video when it stopped allowing you to “scrub” it forward and backward at a chosen speed. (So, post-VHS?)
Product design that tries to silo my behavior just makes me want to misbehave.
💯 Good policy can be called “Martian” and not intrinsically change.
I’m still puzzled by how we ended up calling FDR and Eisenhower economic policies “socialist.”
Then again, both of them were closer to Ho Chi Minh than Milton Friedman. Bloomberg and Harvard Business have us all tongue-twisted.
This week in the Weird Luck webcomic, Madeline and the man behind the counter discuss a sticky matter of identity.

A photon doesn’t experience any time passing due to relativistic time dilation.
The irony is that from the traveler’s standpoint, the closer they get to the speed of light a.k.a. causality, the more they experience moving faster than light.
Onlookers are the ones experiencing a long wait.
Bluesky is Not Your Home: A Case for the Open Social Network to Be the Digital Coalition Streets
A lotta folks think Bluesky should be their home, that it should be someplace where they feel totally comfortable & where people who think differently than they do should be bullied out.
Tay Zonday stands in front of a wood-panel wall in a maroon-purple button down shirt smiling and holding a microphone in his right hand with his cropped left hand extended outward. Square Ikea faux canvas squares hang behind his left with metro-chic iconography and the names “London,” “New York” and “Paris.”

Absolutely! It’s a damned-if-you do, damned-if-you-don’t discursive bind. What is racism’s “undoing?”
Calling it biological fiction is narratively hijacked by other fictions like rational market individualism to deny social epigenetics.
Calling it socially epigenetic is derided as reconstituting.
100% 💪. That’s a valid interpretation of my imperfect metaphor in which it’s certainly false.
I hoped to convey that as race is a biological fiction about aptitude and pathology, I try (also imperfectly) to keep its truthful consequence separate from “trickle-out” phenotype eugenics in my thinking.
Race is often an incidental stenographer of economic privilege.
Social media can normalize anonymous activist takes and moral red lines that require spectacular economic privilege.
I try to remind myself that the economic privilege egg comes before the melanin chicken.
Part of the challenge with me and podcasting is that I’m not easily verbal and pre-recorded for “Sixteenth Minute” at a rate of about three minutes per hour 😀
Even then, jamieloftus.bsky.social and whysophiewhy.bsky.social expertly separated gold from ample silt and a few radioactive hazards 🙏 😀
Hear my thoughts as an “uncured” autistic taxpayer (😳) in this third of three Sixteenth Minute podcast episodes!
