We are so excited to announce that with UID GT000019 Shield Fit24 we have officially hit 3,000 certified open source hardware projects in the database! Thank you so much to every single person who has taken the time to certify their work and make this database such a success.

I was looking for a specific board I made 4 years ago in the massive box of *hundreds* of my unfinished projects, and it made me wonder if all the grief you experience from not finishing projects amasses over time and how it affects one's mental state.

I'm sure it's nothing, haha

Now does it still make “sense” to collect more water and e.g. get a rain barrel or something alike?

(Putting “sense” in quotes here because I feel like there are many different ways to interpret this.)

Would love some feedback or just your thoughts on this....

Because when it gets warmer, we’ll surely use a lot more water for the garden. But a rainbarrel isn’t cheap. Given the price of water, it probably won’t make much sense. Especially since we don’t really have much other ways to collect water. No access to rain downspouts or anything similar...

I usually use that to water the plants around the apartment. And a lot of times, there’s more water than the plants need. So it gets tossed.

I thought about getting a rainbarrel to collect that water…

Been thinking about #water quite a bit, and just saw a post by @tagesschau.bsky.social (I think 😅) so I felt like sharing some of that.

We use reusable water bottles quite a bit around here. For us and the kids. There’s usually quite bit left in them when they need some cleaning.

Feeling like a zombie this morning because of a total lack of sleep, but the discussions and ideas of last night make is worth it I guess 💡

A little surprised if not mad how blandly #99pi roots for nuclear power as a reasonable clean energy source… 😳

Remember when all the open source zealots told us we should all use @openstreetmap.bsky.social ?

They were right.
