NASA and Mamdani are proving that Americans are desperate to see their money spent in ways they feel good about.
This, however, is not the same thing as simply spending the money on things we would feel good about but never know happened. People need to be able to see it.

I wonder how load-bearing the rat population is in NYC.
The Library of Virginia in Richmond seeks a data engineer ($100k-$125k) to transform data practices at a 200-year-old cultural heritage org with an eye towards the future.

This seems like a really painful way to go out. Oof.
the Artemis mission is what I believe in and want to see more of in the world. smart, kind experts working together for knowledge and discovery.
Nice that at least one small part of the US government still has Integrity.
In his first 100 days, Zohran Mamdani has:
-Delivered millions in restitution for workers cheated by gig companies
-Cracked down on predatory landlords
-Launched the first stage of a universal childcare program
-Fixed thousands of potholes in NYC streets
This is what leadership looks like.
Science is good. We should fund it.
Artemis II is just waiting for a gate to open up
Made it all the way to the moon and back but can't operate a walkie talkie 😂
During this incredible, unifying moment of inspiring international cooperation and spectacular technological achievement, I would really appreciate it if the US president would stop threatening to murder an entire country with bombs.
Remember when Howard Dean yawped?
“Copy Moon joy” #Artemis
Oh my gd, the Artemis II crew doing a parody of a bad 1980s sitcom intro from in space.

Reminder to next dem government: take all of SpaceX’s federal contracts and give the money back to NASA.
Yuck
This is insane
We need to redefine “national security” and what makes us safe.
Making sure people are fed and housed makes us safe.
Healthcare makes us safe.
Renewable energy and climate solutions make us safe.
Imagine if we funded these instead of bombs.
With the HP trailer dropping tomorrow, here's the whole deal:
If you watch the show, hell even just the trailer, I will think less of you. I will dislike you. I will think you don't care about trans people.
That's it. It's been years. There's no wiggle room. No qualifiers. You care or you don't.
My favorite use of Copilot is figuring out how to name things.
Poll confirms voters are aware of reality
There was ONE ATC in the tower at LGA during last night's crash.
ONE ATC, at LGA!, dealing w ALL air and ground traffic, including a plane filling w a strange smell and no gate to return to.
The Pentagon wants $200B for a vanity war, but our ATC towers are empty.
Budgets are moral documents.
Most of GA should be in the CENTRAL time zone. 🤦🏻♂️
mind-boggling to me that i still have yet to see a single democrat utter the phrase “every republican president of your lifetime has destroyed the economy and started a war”
People keep saying “oh so you want OPEN BORDERS” as some kind of gotcha and like. Yeah. When I was a kid you could just drive into Canada. On accident, even. It was great, and I think we should do that instead of kidnapping children. Normalize being normal instead of being kidnapping weirdos
ALLIES: Don't forget: Its STILL No Contract No Coffee! We're asking everyone to continue not buying Starbucks at ANY location, as well as deleting the Starbucks app off your phone!

tbh I do kinda want us to "lose the war"
