Jillian and I making pancakes listening to The Grateful Dead’s album American Beauty. I got to see the Dead once, back in 1983. I think I knew 2 Dead songs. I knew about the Dead Heads. The scene in the parking lot and in the audience… well those hippies did not disappoint. The band sounded great.
