They are indeed related to buff orpington as this was the main species used when creating this look like 100 years ago.
So yes, they have very buff orpington production, color, and size when it comes to their eggs!
Not only pretty, but they have that Orpington friendliness I just adore!
They lay the same large cream-brown eggs as other Orpington breeds.
They just started laying, but they look the same as the buff and the blue orpingtons I used to keep years ago.

The Orpington breed of chickens are ultra calm and friendly. I highly recommend them for anyone starting out. They are large, love a routine, like being held, and like hanging out with people.
