I’ve heard someone said “if you’re a creative person and you don’t create, that energy will pile up and easily explode in a destructive/negative way”
So now when I create, not only I already know it’s not that I have to be productive, it’s also that it’s healthy to redirect the energy to sth nice.
It is so fucking cruel to be forced to hear the most horrendous things about yourself from a parent, and you still have to "see their side" and try to mold the situation into a distorted sense of care. Maybe don't say cruel shit from the beginning? Maybe that won't help with anything??
I'm a firm believer that cruelty will never help anyone get better; if by chance, that person does seem better, it's despite said cruelty.
