Ace of hearts, hun.” He still took the card, and their hands brushing during the process was no accident, the same way Husk choosing that one for the ‘distraction’ hadn’t been. “Hm, where could it be, then…” He tapped his chin for a second, lifting up the same finger he had used shortly after, as if the revelation had just arrived. “Maybe…” “Maybe?” “Maybe…” Placing the deck over the counter and leaning closer to Angel, he took one of his hands in his, reaching inside his sweater’s sleeve at the same time and producing no other card than the six of spades. “Oh, yeah, here it is.”
