Eyes On: Security 51 [PLAYTEST Request Available]
Is that a new Papers, Please style game from Alawar I spot?
It appears they're going for a Papers meets SCP game and considering they make mostly indie darlings, I couldn't be more excited.

Today I Played: Retro Rewind
I have found there is reason this game is sitting at overwhelmingly positive, you run a family video store back when VHS was King, you can decorate how you want and you can even put real shows on your work tv, it's addictive as hell.

Eyes On: Dimraeth [DEMO AVAILABLE]
Sorry about the quiet for some days now, i've been knee deep in Death Stranding 2!
But check out this new 1-8 player co-op RPG game, it caught my eye and will be something I show my group for us to check out.

Today I Played: Ground Zero
It's out! And to the reviews saying it's under baked, I just have to ask, what the fuck were you playing?
This game is awesome, it has unlocks, multiple characters, multiple paths, voice acting, fixed camera angles, give it a go!

Eyes On: Drowned Lake [PLAYTEST Available!]
There's been a rather large uptick in horror fishing games lately and I for one am happy to see it, this one looks to be on track so far to be a pretty solid entry into the genre.

Today I Played: The Last Caretaker
There's a couple of Indie short films that could explain the feeling of this game better than I have the character limit for, if you want to know what this is like, go watch "Green Light" or "Beyond Us - A Story After The Collapse."

Eyes On: Mythic Kart Maker [PLAYTEST Available]
Eyyy, we're getting a Kart maker-esque game!
I'm not sure about it having no online racing, but it's a solo dev and they gave us a win for the couch gaming community at least, it'll also have workshop enabled!

Today I Played: Darwin's Paradox
I've had my eye on this for awhile, I finally got around to playing it and it was exactly what I wanted, a short (maybe 4 hour long) platformer with some puzzles and chuckles along the way.
(Sorry, it's been a hot minute!)

Eyes On: The Darkside Detective [DEMO Available!]
Well whadda ya know? They're making a new Darkside Detective with six brand new cases to solve!
If you haven't played these before they're very good supernatural point & click adventures.

Today I Played: DuneCrawl
Okay, to be fair i'm still knee deep in other titles so a lot of these will be Indies i've played in the last 7 days, THIS is a game where you'll drive a giant mech crab with you (and up to 3 friends) and go on action packed adventures!

What Am I Looking Forward To?:
Fable, Ground Zero, Mad King Redemption, Blight Survival
So three of these are relatively Indie, one of these not so much but these are games that for one reason or another refuse to leave my brain and I urge checking them out when you can.
Curse that extra into!!
Eyes On: Nephilite [Demo Available]
So before I dive into head first into Solasta 2, Crimson Desert, Death Stranding 2 for the next foreseeable future.
I wanna direct some attention to a unique looking Sous-Like coming out.

Today I Played - Starship Troopers: Ultimate Bug War!
So if Terrand Command is the RTS, Extermination is the 'somewhat' tactical FPS, then Bug War is the unabashed arcade title.
It's not too entirely long but it packs a lot of chaos in a little box, would recommend.

Eyes On: Pro Jank Footy [Demo Available]
I usually don't give a toss about sports games, but I do love me some old school arcadey sports games!
And boy does this game bring a lot of that, power ups, ridiculous shots & more!

Today I Played: Mr.Sleepy Man
I honestly don't know how to describe this game other than it gives me the feeling of a long lost Gamecube game, it's an experimental platformer and I recommend trying it out, if nothing else it has a demo!

Eyes On - inKONBINI: One Store. Many Stories.
[Prologue Demo Available!]
How's about it friends, how about a slice of life simulator game but this time with a driven narrative that reflects early 1990s Japan?

Today I Played: Smile For Me
This is definitely a WTF did I just play kind of game, but I kind of don't mind it cause of how much absurdity there is in the game.
It's like a puzzle game with unsettling undertones, but nothing that ever becomes too in your face.

No Seriously Eyes On: BANDIT KNIGHT
After having played the playtest for awhile I can actually tell you right now, this game would've fit in on the Dreamcast and that's a major compliment, it's timer based but incredibly fun and addictive.

Eyes On: Bandit Knight [Playtest Available!]
Found a 2.5D thief game! This one is still in heavy development cause the release window is TBA, but I don't see that many stealth games anymore, so i'm always happy to push them when I see them!

Today I Played - Greak: Memories of Azur
I found this adventure platformer during the women's day sale for $4, it's a touching story between siblings that doesn't overstay its welcome at about 6-8 hours, I think pacing made it feel slightly shorter but I recommend it.

So like if they don't manage to at least somewhat meet Shredder's Revenge or SoR4, I just end up feeling like "well this is okay, but i'd rather be doing this." it somewhat ruined this one for me and it also ruined the Power Rangers one for me.
The thing that really kills bigger budgeted beat em ups for me now, is that I have a certain barometer for quality thanks to Shredder's Revenge, or Streets of Rage 4.
There's also OpenBOR fan made ones that take that bar and set it even higher, but I understand that zero deadlines afford them that.
Eyes On: The Caribou Trail [Demo Available!]
If you're not into walking simulators this may not be your jam, i've always felt they typically deliver structured stories incredibly well, this one is about three soldiers creating a bond and surviving the horrors of war.

You're in for a wonderfully fantastic time!
By the way if you're checking this post out, you can get Planet of Lana 1 for like $2 right now and the second one is also on sale for $18

Today I Played: Planet of Lana I & II
I'm genuinely not even going to talk about the story here, because I want you to experience these two games.
They're gorgeous, their soundtracks are ah-mazing and they call themselves an odyssey and it bloody well delivers on it.

Eyes On: Agent 64: Spies Never Die [Demo Available]
Ehhh, close enough.. Welcome Back 007.
Sending you straight back to 1997 this game blends the modern conventions of gaming with the nostalgic trappings of yesteryears spy thrillers.

Today I Played: Esoteric Ebb
Now that we got that bit of bad business out of the way, LEMME TELL YAH SOMETHING!
I was not ready for the hilarity that this DND CRPG was about to drop onto my lap, obvious inspirations from Discworld and Disco, it is not one to miss.

I would like to add onto this, this wasn't even a response to my feedback, this dev response was enough to stop me from trying what otherwise looked like a gorgeous Indie title.
I only didn't make this a game to avoid post/link it out of respect to the other creator on the team.
