It is *fascinating* to me how quickly some people have gone completely from “we all must work in the office! human collaboration is vital and only happens in person!” to “I can replace all these pesky people with chatbots!” Definitely some commentary there about our society and who gets to choose.

Democrats... *sigh*
The centrists in the Senate Democratic caucus saw that the country was rallying to the party in the 2025 elections and resolved that they would do anything they could to kill that momentum.
Did people really memorize phone numbers before cell phones, or is that just a movie thing? 2? Questions I was watching some old shows from the 90s and noticed people would just dial numbers from memory - like they'd call their friends or family without looking anything up. Made me wonder if that was actually normal back then? Did people genuinely have all their important numbers memorized, or did most folks keep a little address book or written list nearby?
If anyone needs me I will be in the museum, lying down next to the bog bodies.

> Hey I should explain some background knowledge first
> Hmm, maybe that should be its own article

You can try out Scoped View Transitions in Chrome 140+ with experimental web platform features. We are actively looking for feedback on this one.
Find all info (and a list of known issues) in developer.chrome.com/blog/scoped-....
If you thought we were done with View Transitions, guess again!
A feature Chrome is working on, is “Scoped View Transitions”, which allow you to scope a VT to a subtree of the DOM.
This unlocks things like concurrent transitions and prevents layering issues.

We should have listened when the modems screamed at us.
A collage of 6 pictures of a Shih Tzu dog: Penny. Peeking out of her bed, as a 2 month puppy, 1 year old puppy with a party hat, blended with her bed with a crown sticker, in her momma's arms and licking her nose.
Happy 14th to my Penny 🥳🎉🎈💗

Men in this industry will really be like "Hey, you should be aware this other guy has a bad reputation among women" and continue to publicly support and uplift said guy.
And it's honestly exhausting and demoralizing. Your actions are louder than your words.
Here is a demo where you can add/remove images and see how they align perfectly.

As a bonus, we can have a nice animation by adding a transition to the offset property.
If you are “afraid for your sons" based on 2% of reported rap3s being false, imagine how afraid we are for our daughters based on the other 98% .
Good point… 🦇
Laura Loomer‘s tweet: Alligator lives matter. The good news is, alligators are guaranteed at least 65 million meals if we get started now.
The entire Latino population in the U.S. is 65 million. She means all of us.

This is the thing I don't understand. How some people are like 'if a kid can't afford lunch they should work for lunch' but billionaires being able to rent a city is totally fine. Explain that to me. Everybody needs lunch, no one needs to rent a city.

People will tell you that they view property destruction as equivalent to violence against a person, but that's not true. They think property destruction is worse
Free 🍉 and I really don't see the need to rank the 'quality' of people saying what. If it was the other way around it would not make killing children or starving an entire population okay.
