Nice! At the moment I'm listened a lot to Kod Koala, especially "Some of my best friends are DJs”.

CSS Day 2026, 11th & 12th of June, Amsterdam CSS Day is the conference for CSS designers, developers, spec writers, and browser vendors.

Somehow I forgot to mention that I'm speaking at @cssday.nl in Amsterdam. I can't wait to be blown away by the sheer amount of knowledge. Look at the line-up, it's once again ridiculous!

The ticket price goes up on May 14th, so better buy your ticket now!

Photo I took from one of the balconies in the main auditorium of the Royal Theater Tuschinski in Amsterdam. It's 740-capacity space combining Art Deco, Art Nouveau, and Amsterdam School styles. It features two ornate balconies, plush seating, and rich, detailed décor reminiscent of an opera house rather than a modern cinema

I'm already back home and with my 4 girls. Although I missed the second day, I can say that #smashingconf Amsterdam was fantastic! I met so many friendly people and had great conversations. The talks were also really good!

Thank you all and see you at the next event! ❤️

box-shadow is no alternative to outline - Manuel Matuzovic I'm a frontend developer in Graz, specialized in HTML, accessibility, and CSS layout and architecture.

In a recent accessibility audit of a website, I noticed that there were no focus styles in forced colors mode. In this short post I explain why and how to fix it. #WebAccessibilityFails

For anyone who wasn't able to grab a copy of my book, I'm sorry. I didn't expect so much demand. You can buy it at any bookstore on- and offline! #smashingconf

You probably shouldn’t be annotating focus order Sometimes not doing something is the right move.

Resharing this post by @ericwbailey.website because someone just asked me whether it's a good idea to annotate focus styles. #smashingconf

One of the advantages of being the first speaker after the lunch break is that you can see how cute people look when they sleep. 😁 #smashingconf

You know how they say that you should never meet your hero. @kevinpowell.co is a hero you want to meet. I had such a great time chatting with him about CSS and beyond. I'm really looking forward to the first day of the conference tomorrow. It'll be great! #smashingconf

Wait a sec,....record stores in Amsterdam aren't closed on Sundays? Now I don't remember anymore what @c-laudila.bsky.social said when I left home. Was it “Don't buy any records” or “Buy records!” hmm... 🤔
