My last review for a while. As I prepare for surgery soon John Carpenter's Toxic Commando gave me "One Last Ride" with those who matter most to me. It doesn't lean in to the 80s vibe enough, but it provides a solid playground.

It has been stressful, and mentally draining to think about how much life changes if it goes wrong which is a possibility, or if we could even do it. I'm not sure what the future holds, but none of us do. I just hope I get to "See" it.
Haven't talked about this much. Last year I found out I was losing my sight. I've been functionally blind in 1 eye for the last 6 months. 2mm away from other eye going.

I honestly think my choice would change every time you ask. Both have games that feel like they changed things. You could pick either and enjoy so many titles.
2000 was ridiculous. I'm conflicted between that and '01
2001 had Final Fantasy X, Tony Hawks 3, Metal Gear Solid 2, Gran Turismo 3, SSX Tricky, Pikmin, Super Smash Bros Melee, WWF Smackdown, Halo, Jak & Daxter, Max Payne.
Just two killer years.
