I knowwww I see all these great features they’re adding… but yes you’re totally right. they’ve run out of key combos that are intuitive enough to remember unless you are consistent in using em!

I was really stoked on the sp-404 to start… but found the interface to be so tough to wrap my head around.

There are just so many unintuitive key combos to memorize. Every time I consider sitting with it I’m confronted with the reality that I’d need to watch a bunch of instructional videos again.

This was my first and sadly only sketch on the Roland SP-404.
