I am reading what happened overnight in the morning.
I turn in MSNOW at 5:00 so I can watch Chris Hayes and Jen Psaki.
TV off AT 7:00.
Wind down in quiet, go to bed and sleep soundly until 5:00AM. Then I start again.
I’ve written to my congressman and senator.
I hope you will too, reminding them to do all they can to stop Frump’s attempts to block the midterms!!
I’ve stopped watching News. I know what is true.
I’m an old lady Democrat with a young mind. I just can’t understand why Democrats in Congress don’t rise up and stop this illegal President!

Feeling depressed today, July 5th. I live in a small town in Southern California.
For the first time in the 18 years I have lived here, I didn’t go to the parade, or to the big hot dog roast.
I just COULD NOT celebrate my Country!!

I’m continuing my boycott of most of the news. It’s difficult to NOT know what’s going on! However, I’m trying to remain positive.
Southern California is a beautiful place to live. We’ve had some rain. it’s the middle of March, which means that we will soon be be getting warmer. Yay!

I live in a senior community of over 400 mostly Democrats. We eat at round tables for lunch with different people every day. This is intentional.
Over the weekend I was talking with one who broke into paranoia, threatening me.
It was sad but scary. Admin. Is handling. I’m keeping my door locked.

Well… I’ve started to be very cautious about what news to watch. This is hard for me, a political junkie. Used to start watching MSNBC at 5:00 pm and turned it to entertainment at 7:00pm. I also read all the popular rags to fill out my knowledge base.
I downloaded the Hallmark channel!! Yuk
I’m very interested in a good, academic, or well informed opinion on how the Democratic Party can change, so that appeals to people who don’t watch MSNBC. (Have to admit that I don’t watch it as much as I did!)
