I revisit Marx's critique of the relationship between labour, technology and the surplus population and situate it within the context of capitalism's directionality

You can't defend something that doesn't yet exist.
We're fighting for them to be created and universally applied for the first time.
Only then will they really be 'rights'.

One path to a successful career as a columnist is to be repeatedly wrong. Not to have unique takes on matters of opinion, but confident declarations proven wrong by events.
