I will be cleaning up the edges eventually so don’t worry about those wonky lines 😉

Creating new beds has become a breeze with the cardboard and mulch method! I am in the process of recreating (1st pic) what I called my ‘circle garden’ from my old house (last 2 pics). It was a spot that felt magical to me and I hope to capture that feeling again when I can plant this spring.

Just reached out to my clients about scheduling their spring planters! I love pulling out all the dried evergreen branches and switching over to a cheerful mix of pansies and other frost tolerant flowers. I can’t believe this is only a few short weeks away.

Plant therapy today! Starting seeds always helps me feel excited for the spring. Its probably a little too early for some, but I needed something to get me out this winter funk. I pull Oracle cards daily to help with self reflection and yesterday pulled “Nourish” reminding myself to feed my soul 💚

Lots of growth happening in this sunny greenhouse! Having the fan come up when it gets above 70, and the 1/2 shade cover is helping with too much heat, which was a problem last winter.

But I just don’t know if I have enough to say in an email… maybe a quarterly one that recaps the season? I do seasonal planters for people at their home.

I have an email list of current clients that I use to schedule all my work. Luckily most of my clients are all repeat ones! I love them all! Gaining new clients is what I’m worried about. I don’t have an email list of potential clients/ anyone just interested in my work. I guess I could try that

Having the same dilemma. And posting to those platforms feels less authentic than ever! I’m going to just try advertising the old fashion way of networking at in person events, and maybe coming up with a referral bonus for existing clients. But still occasionally sharing my work.

Checking on the greenhouse and we have baby carrots 🥹 I’ve loved growing some carrots in terracotta pots the last few years. They never mature to full size but still make a nice snacking carrot!

Just a reminder during these tough times to be kind, drink your water, eat your veggies, and to exercise when you can 💚 At the root of it, I started by business because planting flowers brings me joy. Hopefully the images of my planters and plants brings you joy too.

I wasn’t expecting snow today but we got another nice coating, and the greenhouse/ garden area looks magical! I guess if it has to be winter, at least we have some beautiful snow!

I had told myself I wasn’t even going to do lettuce this year because I was so happy with just the amount of arugula and spinach I got last year! It really is different every year like you said though haha!

I moved in the summer of 2023, so last year was my first winter in this spot! I wasn’t able to harvest until after planting them out last year. But the year before at the old spot I was able to harvest for a month or two early… trying some new things this year so hoping for the best!

Seeing little sprouts of arugula and lettuce always makes me happy in winter. The sweet smelling primrose help too! Hopefully I’ll be able to harvest these right from the pots, but if it doesn’t go well, I’ll just plant in the raised beds come spring.

I’ve been working on some designs, as well as my website recently and it makes me excited for spring! Anyone else in #southeastpa longing for some #springblooms right about now? I know I am.

A sunny day above freezing?! Anyone else outside doing garden work? Just pulling old vines off the trellis and composting rotting plants that didn’t get pulled in time 😅 but enjoying the sunshine!
