Weight stigma harms mental and physical health and is a significant risk factor for eating disorders. STRIPED’s roadmap outlines expert-informed strategies to address weight stigma across public health research, policy, and practice. hsph.harvard.edu/wp-content/u... @alliancefored.bsky.social
Congrats, Taylor! UCSD is a stellar program!
Congrats, Claire! How exciting!
Congrats!!
As a sneak peak, 67% of adolescents with PCOS in the Military Health System had a cormorbid psychiatric diagnosis and 56% were prescribed a psychotropic medication. These rates are high & the development of tailored mental support for this population is needed!
I did a happy dance when I learned I will get to present my new research on the mental health of adolescents with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) at the joint World Congress Pediatric Gynocology/ @naspag.bsky.social meeting this spring!
So grateful to the teens who shared their experiences with us to help develop the Co-occurring Insecurities Model, a new working theoretical model to explain the link between #foodinsecurity and #bingeeating. Full text: authors.elsevier.com/a/1loUMiVKTo...
A yr or two ago we added a clinical internship tab to our database of ED training opportunities. Def double check with program’s current resources. I only update the internship tab if someone sends me a message about a site

It sounds like you know what you’re doing :) go with your gut!
That makes sense. Grad school sometimes felt like a lifetime of stress bundled into in 5 years. It’s been weird adjusting out of it, but a good weird. You’re in the home stretch (definitely definitely)
Also, congrats on being at this stage 🎉 What a HUGE milestone! You are so close to being done!
I talked higher level about the ideas behind my “productivity” (clinical training, lines of research) and my intentional integration of the two; with my gaps being things the site offers training in. I second not spending too much time on them! I’m happy to share mine with if it is helpful.
🌟The REPEAT Lab at VCU (PI: Dr. Annie Haynos) in Richmond, VA is hiring a clinical research coordinator! 🌟 We use various methods (fMRI, EMA, computational modeling) to study neurobiological mechanisms and treatment for eating disorders & other disorders of rigidity. Post will be open for 1 week! 🧠📊
Thanks, Claire!!! I hope you are hanging in there! You are so close to the end yourself!
Thanks, Marley ☺️ I hope you are doing well and get a break from the grind during the summer!
I am fortunate to have found more friends and mentors during internship, and I am excited to continue expanding my research with them during post doc!
Words cannot describe how meaningful it was to have my family convene in DC to watch me graduate last weekend. I wouldn’t have made it to the finish line without my family, mentors, and friends. USU is a wonderfully unique university that I am lucky to have attended.

Sharing a postdoc opening at the Suicide Prevention Institute at UNC. Suicide prevention is broadly defined & there is some flexibility with the clinical rotations. Bonus, you get to work with Sarah LeMay-Russell, who is a truly wonderful colleague & supervisor!

My 1st PCOS project is published! Led by Dr. Long, we reviewed RCTs testing lifestyle modifications for AYA with PCOS. Interventions generally improved PCOS symptoms, but the complete lack of studies testing comprehensive, evidence-based lifestyle programs is concerning.

I’ve been gaining experience working with teens with functional neurological disorder (FND) on internship. I’ve learned a TON and love the work. Here is a short special issue on the tx approach for FND, with contributions from my excellent med-psych PHP supervisors www.rimed.org/rimedicaljou...
Much appreciated! I see team specific accounts but sadly the 2 Robbie’s haven’t made their way over here
I’m not sure what a starter pack is or how to join, but will there also be one for premiere league fans?
